The corrected visual acuity is generally 1.0. If you feel uncomfortable wearing 1.0 glasses, you can reduce it to 0.8.

General optical shops, your first pair of glasses, will generally be corrected to 0.8 or even 0.6.

My first pair of glasses was corrected to 0.6. Later, I got used to glasses, and they were all corrected to 1.0.
