1995 was named "baby-friendly hospital" by WHO, UNICEF and the Ministry of Health.

1996 was rated as a "second-class first-class" hospital by the Ministry of Health;

1997 was rated as a provincial health civilized unit;

In 2003, it was rated as a municipal civilized unit, and in 10, it was rated as a municipal advanced unit.

In order to make the hospital move towards the newer and greater development goal, yongcheng city People's Hospital requisitioned Dongcheng District 180 mu of land for the construction of the new hospital. The outpatient building is designed with 6 floors and the ward building is designed with 12 floors. The outpatient building has started now, and the new campus with a building area of 60,000 square meters is about to be completed.
