Nurses are an ordinary profession, because we have created a piece of happiness with our true feelings in ordinary and hard work, and guarded one side's peace with our love. Time flies and rushes by. I have been engaged in clinical nursing for 32 years. This time, my sister recommended me as a "model of quality nursing service". I am happy-because I will leave my familiar post in the near future and retire with honor. I'm ashamed-because I haven't made any achievements, but I just help patients do some daily life and basic nursing operations every day to understand their needs. I look forward to-how to do your work better, set a good example for the little nurses, and really do it: let the leaders rest assured of your work.
Since the implementation of high-quality nursing service in our department, all nurses have conscientiously implemented the service tenet of "people-oriented, nursing first", and are close to patients, clinic and society. Since the establishment of a harmonious doctor-patient relationship, I remember that once, an elderly woman was admitted to the hospital on 10 in the morning, and it was already noon after the infusion. She insisted on going home, saying, "The family didn't know that she was in hospital, so they waited to go home for dinner, and then they got lost in the afternoon." While comforting her, I found a cup to pour boiling water and informed my family to send meals. After a while, the family brought food. At this time, she thanked me very much and said, "It is better to be in her own school hospital"! A few days later, she thanked me. I said, "Simple, do a little thing". But she said, "In some hospitals, some people don't do this." . In the operation of intravenous infusion, some patients have to choose older nurses for needle insertion. They said: young nurses have no experience, and old nurses have experience. I smiled and said to them: Young nurses need your support. After a certain period of operation training, they can become experienced operators. They can only start working after we retire. Besides, your blood vessel has been punctured. This explanation has been recognized by them. On April 20 this year, when I was on duty, an elderly patient, unaccompanied, told me to roll up the bed at 9 pm and have a comfortable sleep. Twenty minutes later, he told me to open the window. The room was very stuffy. Afterwards, he told me to say: I can't sleep, turn off the lights. After a while, he asked me to pour him some cough medicine and boiled water. At that time, I muttered to myself: Why not finish what I need to do together and let me run back and forth? When I came to the patient's bed, a pair of helpless eyes looked at me. At this time, a task drove me to help him solve the problem, and my resentment suddenly vanished. Why blame others? He is the weak and the sick, and he is our God. Every moment and every need is our responsibility and obligation. The next morning, he told me again: I accidentally got the sheets wet when I peed, so I covered them with a towel. He insisted that I don't change the sheets, saying that I bothered you four or five times last night, and I'm sorry to bother you again. I patiently advised him that you were uncomfortable sleeping. You are a patient and an empty nester. Usually, volunteers will help you. You are in our hospital and should help you. Besides, it's my job. He repeatedly said, "Thank you! Thank you! " And said: I'm from area B. I didn't expect the nurses in our area A hospital to be so good. I am very touched and gratified to hear that. If every nurse puts herself in the other's shoes, warms them with love, relieves their doubts and worries, touches them with sincerity, gains their understanding and support, cares about patients' psychological needs, and treats every patient warmly, it will win patients' understanding, tolerance, respect and trust in nursing work!
Yes! Nursing is an ordinary, trivial and hard occupation, and it is also a noble and sacred occupation with high technical content, which is related to people's life and health. It is conscientious in its work, grows in ordinary work, gains joy in its efforts, and gains the value of life in the lock. Patiently answer patients' questions and help patients solve difficulties. Therefore, we have a deeper understanding of nursing work, and we should try our best to meet the service requirements of every patient with a good mental outlook, a high sense of responsibility and excellent technology.
I am deeply guilty of being rated as a model of high-quality nursing service this time, because I know that there is still a certain gap between myself and the assessment standard of high-quality nursing service model. At the same time, it also brought me great motivation and spur, and I was really touched psychologically. Thank you for your affirmation of my work and the recognition of nurses and sisters. In the future work, encourage me to work together with my general nurses and sisters, self-supervise, self-spur and self-control. As an old nurse, lead the little nurses to strive to be more high-quality nursing service pacesetters, show the spiritual outlook and humanistic quality of our hospital, and truly let patients feel the warmth of Chongqing University Hospital!
