Application conditions
Starting from January 1, 2007, the following mainland cities have been included in the (Hong Kong and Macao Individual Travel Plan) and can apply for (Hong Kong and Macao Individual Travel Endorsement (G)) Travel to Hong Kong on your own. Other areas can only apply for (Hong Kong and Macao group travel endorsement (L)) to travel to Hong Kong. Application procedures
1. Acceptance authority: Exit and entry management department of the county (district) public security bureau where the household registration is located.
2. Submit a completed "Application Form for Mainland Residents Traveling to and from Hong Kong and Macao" (fill it in with a pen or signature pen, ballpoint pens are not allowed), along with a photo studio printout receipt and a digital optical photo.
3. Submit the original ID card and household registration book for verification (applicants under 16 years old only need to submit the household registration book for verification; military personnel only need to submit proof of identity), and submit copies.
4. If you hold a valid travel permit to and from Hong Kong and Macao, submit your travel permit to Hong Kong and Macao.
5. Persons who have notified the public security department of exit registration and apply for the "Permit to Travel to and from Hong Kong and Macao" and individual travel endorsement for Hong Kong and Macao must submit the opinions of the unit according to the cadre management authority. Other personnel do not need to submit opinions from their units or police stations.
