Does the infrared receiving diode connection need to be reversed to work?
Yes, I used it. 5V power supply, connected in series with a 330 ohm resistor, and then connected to the negative electrode of the infrared receiving diode, and the positive electrode of the diode is grounded. The signal is led out from the negative node of the resistor and diode, then connected to two NOT gates (74HC 14) for shaping, and then sent to the single chip microcomputer for processing.

When in use, when the infrared signal is received, the diode will be saturated and turned on, and the on voltage is very small, so the output node will appear low level;

When there is no infrared signal, the diode is turned off, so the voltage of the output node is close to the power supply voltage, showing a high level.

Diode; A person who lacks dialectical thinking

Diode, in electronic components, is a device with two electrodes, which only allows current to flow in one direction, and many uses are to apply its rectification function.
