There are two kinds of defects that affect its grade. Internal defects are called inclusions and surface defects are called surface defects. The criteria for evaluating the clarity of diamonds include the influence of the number, size, type, location and visibility of the above defects on the overall appearance of diamonds. The classification of diamond clarity must be carried out under three lenses.
The higher the clarity grade, the higher the diamond price. In addition, the inclusion records the geological environment when the diamond was formed, which can be used as the basis for identifying the authenticity, natural or synthetic diamonds.
