I got up early and went to the market to look at the materials, hoping that if I was lucky, I could buy suitable materials. Business is not good now, but the materials are not cheap, so it is not easy to find a suitable material.
When you buy materials, you are thinking about what you can do, how to do it, and how much you can sell after you finish it. Now the goods are hard to sell, and maybe even the processing fee is lost. So, look more and buy less.
9 o'clock-12 o'clock
Give the materials drawn last night to the disciples and explain what they did well and what they didn't do well. Where the apprentice does not do well, correct it to the apprentice when necessary.
A finished product, from raw materials to completion, needs repeated painting from master to apprentice and needs repeated revision. It is difficult to teach jade carvings in batches, so we can only teach them one by one and change them over and over again. Therefore, teaching apprentices is really troublesome. The master spends a lot of time drawing, changing pictures and teaching his disciples.

After dinner and a short rest, I sat on the engraving machine, looked at what the disciples had done in the morning, circled the places that were not done well, marked them, and then took out the materials myself to conceive the design of other raw materials.

In view of what the disciples did this morning, I explained them one by one and assigned tasks. If no customers come, I will try to take my apprentice. After all, there are too few disciples who can win all of them. I spent too much time teaching them. The amount of finished products produced in one month is too small.
When customers come, it is natural to accompany them, listen to their opinions, discuss with them and consider things outside the factory.
19-24 o'clock
After dinner, look at the goods made by the apprentice, then draw pictures and think about what to do for the apprentice tomorrow. Correct the shortcomings of the disciples. In the evening, I looked at the materials that my customers brought me, and I conceived how to design it myself. What may accompany you is just a cup of tea and a box of cigarettes.
How complex, exquisite and beautiful their works are requires them to spend more time thinking, trying and working.
This is an ordinary and boring day for every jade sculptor. We think that behind the best jade carving is the charming appearance of the jade carver. I didn't expect it to be so dull. They carved these exquisite jade carvings with their own creativity and technology, but they are just ordinary people.
