On the basis of introducing the gemology course of British Gemmology Association, Wuhan Jewellery College of China Geo University launched its own gemology course on 1993, which is divided into three parts: primary gemology course, diamond course and gemology certificate course. Students who successfully pass the diamond course or gemmology certificate course can obtain GIC diamond grading certificate and GIC gemmology certificate respectively, and both certificates will be awarded GIC jewelry appraiser qualification certificate. Since the GIC course was launched, thousands of students have obtained GIC certificates and become an important force active in China's jewelry industry. GIC certificate has always adhered to strict requirements and high quality, which has been fully affirmed by the British Gemological Association. It is decided that anyone who has obtained GIC certificate can take the FGA certificate course examination without taking the elementary (basic) course of the British Gemmological Association. This is the only certificate in Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan, and only a few certificates in the world have this qualification. This shows that GIC certificate has been in line with international standards.

It is difficult for GIC to take the exam. Hehe, the first two certificates have been passed. I really learned a lot in the exam for the last certificate.

The gem inspector is much better, I think.

But the knowledge I learned is much less, and it is the type of professional work permit issued by the local labor bureau.
