In fact, jade maintenance really needs to pay attention to many small details, but it is not as troublesome to wear as expected.
Water-fearing series
1, Pearl
Although pearl grows in water, it is a long shell and will not be impacted by water. On the contrary, the shell will completely protect it. The main component of pearls is very fragile calcium carbonate, which is easy to oxidize and lose its luster even if it is not touched with water. Therefore, if you have pearl ornaments, you should take good care of them. No water, high temperature, bumps!
2.lapis lazuli
Lapis lazuli is a special particle combination, which is composed of many minerals. If it meets water, the dirt on the surface of lapis lazuli will penetrate into the interior, thus affecting its original luster. So when cleaning and maintaining lapis lazuli, don't rinse it with water, just wipe it gently with a wet cloth.
3. Wood products
Generally speaking, nine times out of ten wooden ornaments can't get wet! Similar to lobular rosewood, Huang Huali and Xingyue Bodhi, water is forbidden. Once or twice occasionally, it doesn't matter, but getting wet often will greatly shorten the service life of the bracelet, so don't be lazy when taking a shower, it will be better to take it off!
Not afraid of water series
1, emerald
As a kind of jadeite, its internal structure is very stable. When washing your hands and taking a bath, you don't have to worry at all, and it is almost impossible to cause harm. Of course, if you encounter boiling water, jade will still be damaged, but no one will take a bath with boiling water!
2, beeswax
It doesn't matter if the beeswax is dipped in some water when washing your hands. But stay away from hot springs and saunas! Because the general hot spring water contains some minerals, which may cause harm to beeswax, so don't be lazy to take it off.
3. Hetian jade
Hetian jade, like jadeite, is also called nephrite, but its hardness is only a fraction of that of jadeite. Therefore, Hetian jade is also an athlete who is not afraid of water.
4. Nanhong
The main component of Nanhong is silica, which is a kind of jade with very stable structure. Therefore, there is no problem for Nanhong to encounter water. It should be noted that the surface of Nanhong will form patina after playing for a long time. Soak Nanhong again, and the previous play will be in vain.
Almost all colored gems are afraid of chemicals! Body wash, soap, cosmetics, shampoo and other organic solutions. Will corrode the surface of colorful jade. Long-term contact will shorten its life and reduce its precious value.
Fear of high temperature series
In fact, we don't have a specific standard for the statement of high temperature. What is high temperature? Compared with the human body, the highest temperature of the human body cannot exceed 46.5℃, and the water temperature will not exceed this temperature at all when bathing. Such a high temperature is equivalent to the human body temperature for jade, and will not cause much harm.
If you really want to do harm to the high temperature of jade, the temperature should be at least above 80 degrees. If you stay in a high temperature environment for a long time, it will make the water of jewelry and jade lose and cause cracks, so you should avoid high temperature, for example, in the car in summer, it is best not to worry about the strings of love!
