Family property insurance is not guaranteed for all family property, and the scope of protection is quite limited. Taking a property insurance product of Ping 'an Company as an example, this paper looks at the scope of protection and unprotected property of family property insurance: the guaranteed family property includes houses, house decoration and indoor property, among which indoor property includes ordinary household appliances, portable household appliances, bedding, clothes, shoes and hats, bags, watches, furniture and leisure products. Uninsured family property includes: (1) gold and silver, jewelry, money, negotiable securities, tickets, stamps, antiques, documents, account books, technical materials, charts, animals and plants and other priceless property; (2) Property in a state of emergency and danger; (3) Property used for production and operation; (4) Other properties beyond the above insurance coverage. From this coverage, we can see that the coverage of family property insurance covers all the necessities of life, while the property with higher value is basically not covered by family property insurance.
Apart from the very limited coverage, family property insurance can't compensate for anything. Take theft as an example. Family property insurance generally only pays for cases with obvious signs of theft (such as damaged doors and windows), but there are no obvious signs of theft or doors and windows are not properly related when theft occurs, so claims cannot be obtained. Therefore, don't be naive to think that as long as you buy property insurance, you can get compensation for any property losses at home.
