After studying for a long time, I am tired, but I still don't rest. After a long time, I was too tired to doze off.
Afraid of affecting his study, he came up with a special method. In ancient times, men had long hair.
He found a rope and tied it firmly to the beam. When he is tired of reading, he dozes off. When his head is lowered, the rope will hold his hair and hurt his scalp, wake up immediately and continue to study.
This is the story of Sun Jing's hanging beam. During the Warring States Period, there was a man named Su Qin, who was also a famous politician.

In this way, he often studied late into the night, and later became a famous scholar in the Western Han Dynasty, and once served as the prime minister of the Han and Yuan emperors. It can be seen from the example of digging a wall to borrow light that external factors (environment and conditions) are not decisive factors. Under extremely difficult conditions, Kuang Heng finally became a member through his own efforts and strong perseverance.
This shows that the internal cause is the basis and the first reason for the development and change of things, and the external cause is only the condition that affects the change of things, and it can only work through the internal cause. (Kuang Heng digs the wall to steal light) 5. Mr Ouyang Xiu died at the age of four. His family is very poor and there is no money for him to study.

2. Idiom stories of diligent study 1. During the Spring and Autumn Period, the books of Bian Wei Sanjue were mainly made of bamboo. Break them into bamboo sticks, called bamboo slips, dry them with fire and write them on them.
Bamboo slips have a certain length and width, and a bamboo slip can only write one line, ranging from dozens to eight or nine. A book needs a lot of bamboo slips, which must be woven together with strong ropes and the like before it can be read.
Books like Yi, of course, are made of many bamboo slips, so they have considerable weight. Confucius spent a lot of energy reading the Book of Changes and basically understood its contents.
I quickly read it for the second time and grasped its basic points. Then, he read it for the third time and had a thorough understanding of its spiritual essence.
Later, in order to study the book deeply and explain it to his disciples, he read it many times. After reading this way, the cowhide belt of serial bamboo slips has been worn off several times, and it has to be replaced with a new one and reused many times.
Even after reading these, Confucius said modestly, "If I were allowed to live a few more years, I would fully master the text and quality of the Book of Changes." 2. In the Eastern Han Dynasty, there was a man named Sun Jing, a famous politician.
When he was young, he was eager to learn. He often closed the door and kept reading alone. Reading from morning till night every day, often forgetting to eat and sleep.
After studying for a long time, I am tired, but I still don't rest. After a long time, I was too tired to doze off.
Afraid of affecting his study, he came up with a special method. He found a rope with one end firmly tied to the beam and the other end tied to his hair.
When I was young, because of the lack of knowledge, I went to many places to do things and was not taken seriously.
After returning home, his family was also very cold and looked down on him. It means a lot to him.
So, he made up his mind to study hard. He often studies late into the night, is very tired, often takes a nap and wants to sleep.
He also figured out a way to prepare an awl. Once he dozed off, he stabbed himself in the thigh with the awl. In this way, I suddenly felt pain, woke up by myself, and then insisted on reading.
This made the story of Su Qin's "thorn". 3, log police pillow Sima Guang studied tirelessly since childhood, but worked harder after becoming an official.
Where he lives, there are no other precious furnishings except books and bedding. Bedding is simple: a wooden bed, a coarse quilt and a log pillow.
Why use a log pillow? It's interesting to say, when you are too sleepy to study, you just fall asleep. Log pillows roll easily on hardwood beds.
Just move and it will roll away. His head fell on the wooden bed, and with a bang, he woke up and got up to read at once.
Sima Guang gave this log pillow a name: "Police pillow." 4. Reading under the Moon There was a scholar named Jiang Bi in Nanqi. He has to work during the day and only has time to study at night, but the poor can't afford a lamp, so he can only study at night with moonlight.
Whenever he reads that the moon sets in the west, he moves a ladder and puts it under the foot of the wall, standing on the ladder and reading. As the moonlight fell, he climbed up step by step until he reached the roof.
Sometimes, when he was tired of reading, he accidentally fell off the ladder. He got up quickly, climbed the ladder again without dusting off the dirt, and continued reading. During the Han Dynasty, there was a man named Kuang Heng who was very studious.
The family is very poor. He has to work during the day and can study at night. But I can't afford candles, so I can't read when it gets dark.
His neighbor lights candles at night to make it bright. I want to study at night, but I can't afford candles. Can I borrow an inch of your house? " Neighbors look down on people who are poorer than their family, so they say, "You are so poor that you can't even afford candles. What else can you read?" Kuang Heng was very angry, but he decided to read the book well.
Kuang Heng came home, quietly chiseled a small hole in the wall, and candlelight came in. With this faint light, I began to read eagerly and gradually finished reading all the books at home.
There is a big family nearby with many books. One day, Kuang Heng rolled up his bedding and appeared in front of a big house.
He said to his host, "please take me in. I will work for you at home without pay." Just let me finish reading all your books. "
The host was moved by his spirit and agreed to his request to borrow books. Baidu Encyclopedia-Bian Wei Sanjue Baidu Encyclopedia-Hanging Beam Stabbing Baidu Encyclopedia-Log Police Pillow Baidu Encyclopedia-Reading Moon Baidu Encyclopedia-Stealing Light.

There is a big family in the village where Kuang Heng lives, and Kuang Heng is a servant in this family.

The idiom "Fireflies reflect snow" comes from the story of two ancient people who studied hard. The Book of Jin says, "Yin Gong is tireless and knowledgeable.
Poor people don't often get oil, and Xia Yue practices filling dozens of fluorescent fires to take pictures of books, day and night. Long, charming and witty, he is famous for his country songs. "
Later, he was "famous for his erudition and indifference". It is precisely because Che Yin's family was poor when he was a child that he couldn't often buy oil to light a lamp, but he could often catch dozens of fireflies in fine net bags on summer nights as lighting for reading. Therefore, when he grew up, he was not only famous for his wit and agility, but also for his poor family and profound knowledge at that time.
According to "Shang You Lu", "Sun Kang was born in Jin Jing Zhao, sensitive and studious, and his family was poor and had no oil. He studies in the snow in winter. " Although both Jin people were poor and had no oil to light a lamp, one was that it snowed in winter and they studied hard, so they both became famous scholars at that time.

His parents scolded him severely; His wife sat on the loom knitting silk without even looking at him; He begged his sister-in-law to cook for him, but she ignored him and leaned down and walked away. Su Qin suffered a lot and was determined to win a sigh of relief.
Since then, he has been eager to learn and study Sun Tzu's Art of War every day until late at night. Sometimes I study until midnight, and when I am tired and sleepy, I prick my thigh with an awl. Although it was painful, his spirit came and he continued reading.

Confucius replied: "Confucius is smart and eager to learn, and he has the courage to ask people whose status and knowledge are not as good as his own without feeling humiliated." This is great and should be given the title of' Wen'. "

A hole was drilled in the wall to get light from the neighbor's house.
Kuang Heng, whose real name is Gui Zhi, was born in the East China Sea in the Western Han Dynasty (the name of Han County, east of Pixian County in Jiangsu Province and east of Ziyang County in Lianshan East Province). He was born in a peasant family, and his grandfather and father were farmers for generations. To Kuang Heng, but I like reading. When he was young, his family was poor. He makes a living as an employee during the day and only has time to study at night. But the family is too poor to light candles. The lights and candles next door are on, but they can't shine. Kuang Heng came up with an idea. He chiseled a hole in the wall next door and "stole" a little light from it to let the light from next door shine in. He is reading with a book in his hand, reflecting the light in front of the hole.
Kuang Heng's family is too poor to afford books. There is a rich man in his hometown who has a rich collection of books. Kuang Heng went to his home to work, but he didn't receive any money. The rich man was surprised and asked Kuang Heng why. Kuang Heng said, "I don't want to be paid. I only hope that you can lend me all the books at home, and I will be very satisfied. " After hearing this, the rich man was deeply moved by his diligent spirit and agreed to his request. Since then, Kuang Heng has had excellent reading opportunities. According to historical records, Kuang Heng was full of energy, surpassing ordinary people, rich in books, and Kuang Heng's hard work finally made him a learned scholar. At that time, among the taxi drivers, there were even a few words passed down from mouth to mouth: "If you don't say" Poetry ",come here; Kuang speaks poetry and is considerate (no one can explain the Book of Songs, Kuang Heng has just arrived; Kuang Heng explained the meaning of The Book of Songs to everyone, and everyone laughed happily. " It shows that his popularity is very high. At that time, many scholars worshipped him as a teacher and learned from him.
During the Han and Yuan Dynasties, Zhang Heng was recommended as a doctor by the imperial court and later promoted to a doctor. At this time, solar eclipse and earthquake occurred one after another. Fearing that this was a harbinger of disaster, Emperor Han and Yuan discussed political gains and losses with his ministers. Kuang Heng played last part, citing historical facts to explain that the astronomical phenomena are only a natural change of Yin and Yang, and the fortunes and blessings all lie in people's actions, the ethos of human society, and more importantly, the enlightenment and influence of the imperial court. Therefore, the emperor should cut down the expenses of the court, get close to loyal officials and upright people, alienate disloyal officials and villains, select talents, and open up the way to accept advice, and so on. Emperor Han Yuan appreciated Kuang Heng's knowledge and promoted him to Doctor Guanglu and Prince Shaofu.
Pang Aifu, emperor of the Han Dynasty, and her son Ding Chao abolished the queen and prince. Kuang Heng earnestly exhorted this, and deeply analyzed the truth that "the family should be the master of the world" in order to prevent the national disaster. Kuang Heng participated in the discussion of the major policies of the imperial court, quoted classics and expounded legal principles and morality, which was highly appreciated. He was promoted to GuangLuQuan, an ancient scholar, and later to Prime Minister, and was named Hou Le 'an.
During the Han and Yuan Dynasties, the eunuch secretariat made the sages monopolize power, excluding and framing the sages. Kuang Heng is too afraid of him to criticize him. After the death of Emperor Yuan of the Han Dynasty, Emperor Cheng of the Han Dynasty acceded to the throne, and jointly impeached Shi Xian with Zhen Fu, the imperial censor, exposing all kinds of evil deeds of Shi Xian and his followers. Shi Xian and his minions were duly punished. However, some people think that Kuang Heng, as the minister of Fuzheng, did not participate in the exposure in time in his early years, but failed to fulfill his responsibility and impeached him. Kuang Heng also felt ashamed, repeatedly asked to resign, and was finally dismissed for occupying more fiefs.
According to Kuang Heng's story, later generations summed up an idiom, "Digging the poacher to steal the column", which describes being diligent and eager to learn.
