Rings and jewelry can be photographed very close, and there is no big requirement for the focal length of the macro lens. In my experience, when using a full-frame machine, it is best to use a medium-focus macro lens of about 100mm, such as Canon Budweiser, Longteng 90 macro, Nikon 105 macro, etc. Of course, a macro of 50mm or 60mm is also possible, but the background blur effect should not be too strong.
In fact, lighting and post-polishing are far more important than what lens to use in the early shooting.
