Due to the differences in natural environment, social conditions and economic level, all ethnic groups in China have formed their own unique customs and habits in terms of diet and clothing.
In terms of diet, Han people mainly eat rice and noodles, like vegetables, beans, meat, fish and eggs, and pay special attention to cooking techniques; Uighurs, Kazakhs and Uzbeks like to eat mutton kebabs, pilaf and naan. Mongolians mainly eat beef, mutton and milk, and like to drink milk tea. Koreans love cakes, cold noodles and pickles; Tibetans love to eat Ciba and drink butter tea; Li, Jing, Dai, Bulang and Hani all like to chew betel nuts. In terms of clothing, Manchu women love to wear cheongsam, while Mongolians are used to wearing Mongolian robes and riding boots. Tibetans love to wear Tibetan robes, belts and boots; Yi, Miao and Yao women love to wear pleated skirts and gold and silver ornaments; Uighurs love four-stare blankly embroidered hats; Koreans love to wear plain white clothes, so they are called "people in white".
