Reading notes
Life is wonderful because you enjoy reading. For me, reading, like eating, has become the most important part of my life. I feel hungry if I don't eat a meal, and I feel panic if I don't read a book for a day.
Almost all the books I read before I was ten years old were scripts of some revolutionary model operas, and occasionally I saw several novels by former Soviet writers, which were priceless. The first time I watched How Steel was Tempered, I was so excited that I couldn't sleep. I still remember hiding in the quilt and watching it with a flashlight for more than ten nights. In fact, this is a traditional novel. For a pupil who was only in the fourth grade at that time, it was naturally very laborious to read. I even chewed up a thick novel by guessing. I don't care how much I get, but at least in my childhood memory, I carved the resounding name Pavel Colta King.
Books read after the age of ten are naturally rich in content, from contemporary literary works, from scar literature to reflection literature, to reform literature, and finally to various literary trends today; From novels to mini-novels, I grabbed one and read one. So, I smelled the book all the way, and with the pace of the times, I grew up and got old.
Since the 1990s, due to my busy work, I have no time to get involved in too many works. I only collected three magazines in time in my heart, namely Reader, Selected Short Stories (or Selected Miniature Novels) and Story Club. It looks a bit vulgar, but you can see all kinds of social changes, the world is cold and strange things. The most important thing is that the article is very short, so you don't have to waste time and energy for the twists and turns of the story. Unfortunately, it only comes out once a month, so every time I finish reading it, I just hate that time passes too slowly. In a few days, I went to the newsstand to ask, and usually there were only two results: either a new one came, or I thought I bought a new one and took it back to read it carefully. I don't know when these magazines were published twice in January, but the phenomenon of repeated purchase still happened.
"If a scholar-bureaucrat doesn't study and pay courtesy for three days, he will feel disgusting and his language will be tasteless." Dare not talk to the ancients, but allow me to feel the same way. Whenever I hold a pleasant book, whenever I read something I am proud of, I am often excited, sometimes even staying up all night. In a word, reading is a good thing, not a bad thing, that's all. If you can't change it, just let it be!
Reflections on Reading "The Way of Running a School"
Work needs, read a lot of management books. One of them, the way of running a school, is quite impressive. This book was written by Tao Jixin. Mr. Tao is currently the editor-in-chief of Shandong Education Publishing House and a reporter of China Education News. In 2005, he was rated as one of the top ten readers of China Education News Reading Weekly.
The Way of Running a School describes the success of 20 famous school principals in China. The book is divided into six parts, and each part has a classified theme: the first part is "Thought leads educational action", the second part is "Culture promotes school development", the third part is "Wisdom makes extraordinary career", the fourth part is "Harmonious construction of human environment" and the fifth part is "Personality". When I get a good book, I often like to read it all at once. A good book, after reading it in one breath, should be savored. I have tasted the way of running a school several times and it is very useful to me.
Although I have participated in some training before, I know the basic duties of the principal. But after reading this book, I think it is very difficult to be a good principal, because the principal is different from the general administrative leaders, and to some extent, the principal determines the fate of the school. As a special role, the principal's historical mission is to give spiritual guidance and ideological guidance to teachers and students. The real life growth of teachers and students determines their future development. Therefore, all outstanding principals are working hard for the rapid life growth of teachers and students. The ideological level of a principal determines the overall educational development level of his school.
After tasting The Way of Running a School, vivid images of 20 outstanding principals come to mind:
President Hu Meishan, who pursues Excellence
President Li Shengyong, who is people-oriented and casts the soul of the nation.
President Zhu Jianhua was appointed at a critical moment, and his studies and personality were exemplary.
President Yang Yiqing, who leads the life development of teachers and students, is known as an evergreen tree on the education front.
Principal Zhao Fuqing, the Explorer of Innovative Education Theory
President Gao Wanxiang, who won by educational criticism and cultural construction.
President Jin Zihong, who is good at mobilizing the internal motivation of the school.
President Han Zhongyu, who started the students' psychological self-confidence system in an all-round way and created the myth of college entrance examination in Anqiu No.4 Middle School.
The virtuous and courteous President of Lu Zhiwen.
President Han Zhende who manages education with wisdom
President Xia Jianjuan expresses humanistic feelings on the road of teachers and students' growth with true feelings.
President Cui Xiumei has a happy mood and humanistic feelings.
President Zhou who can make teachers have a sense of professional happiness.
The headmaster is strict and willing to help teachers develop.
President Hou Xiping has a profound educational complex.
President Ma Zhiping with a strong national complex
Zhang Ping, the headmaster, has a creative way of running a school.
President Jie Zheng has some "alternative" thinking and special actions.
Yu Chunxiang's unique president who loves "footprint culture"
And President Cui Qisheng of Dukou Middle School, whom I have admired for a long time.
Although these principals have never met, they have all become my mentors and friends. Whenever they encounter difficulties in the management process, they will "extend" their enthusiastic "hands" to help, so no matter how many difficulties there are, they can be solved.
Of course, after reading this book, what I left for myself is more enlightenment to education management:
First, the principal must be a moral principal. "Everything comes first", "Virtue is higher than ability, character is higher than ability", and the headmaster's "having both ability and political integrity" is the golden key to the success of the school. Only a virtuous principal can have personality charm, and a virtuous principal can bring out a first-class team and create a first-class teaching quality. The Yu Xiang team led by President Lu Zhiwen is a good example. Yu Xiang people's code of conduct, educational philosophy and spirit of struggle all come from President Lu's profound educational complex.
Second, the principal must be a thoughtful principal. A thoughtful principal can make a hopeless school full of vigor and vitality; And a headmistress who has no thoughts can run a good school in decline. In a sense, an thoughtless principal, no matter how conscientious he is, is not a qualified manager. Only a principal with profound ideological accumulation can run a school with profound cultural accumulation.
Third, the headmaster must attach importance to the construction of campus culture. The competition between countries, schools and people is, in the final analysis, a cultural competition. It can be said that the development of campus culture construction is also the development of school brand. In a sense, cultural construction is the soul of school development. A real brand school should not only have the elegant demeanor of explicit culture, but also have the profound accumulation of implicit culture. A wise headmaster will certainly make great efforts in the development of campus culture.
Fourth, schools must create a harmonious humanistic environment. "Harmony is precious" is the cultural tradition of the Chinese nation. Harmonious humanistic environment is the basis of teachers' happy work. If a school takes contradiction and struggle as the main tone, then the so-called development becomes empty talk. Building a scientific evaluation system, thinking and dealing with problems from the perspective of the happiness of teachers and students, and taking the development of teachers as the lifeline of the school are all necessary conditions for building a harmonious humanistic environment.
Thanks to Mr. Tao, the author, for his hard work, and to the 20 principals recorded in the book, because they wrote a chapter on educating life with their youth and blood. The names of these 20 principals have been included in my friends list. This list is not written on paper, but firmly in mind.
Life is wonderful because of reading, and it is fun to have books along the way.
