Classification principle

1. According to the discipline and specialty to which the subject content of standard literature belongs, it is generally divided into first-level, second-level refinement and third-level refinement.

2. Terminology standard and graphic symbol standard can be divided into terminology category and graphic symbol category first, and then divided into professional category according to the specialty to which the standardized object belongs.

3. A standard can be divided into multiple secondary or tertiary categories according to its theme or thematic aspects.

4. If the subject scope of a standard includes all three categories under a secondary category, the standard should be divided into this secondary category.

5.
