When did Emperor Jiaqing die?
In the Qing Dynasty, Aisingiorro was the fifteenth son of Emperor Qianlong. Born in the 25th year of Qianlong (1760), Qianlong was named Prince Jia in the 54th year. Emperor Qianlong was in power for more than 60 years. In order not to let his rule surpass that of the holy father Kangxi, he passed the throne to his son. Also known by the world as Emperor Jiaqing. Jiaqing is honest and honest, and he is not very conspicuous among many governors of Emperor Qianlong. During the reign of Yongzheng, in the early years of Qianlong, he wanted to make his eldest son, Yong Lian, the Chu King. Unfortunately, Yong Lian died shortly after putting the imperial edict of Yong Lian on the chessboard. After that, Qianlong wanted the seven sons born to Queen Chu Jun to stay on earth forever. Who knows that Yong Cong, who just turned two, died soon after the imperial edict was handed over to the board. So twice, Emperor Qianlong dared not put the imperial edict behind the board. When Qianlong was old, he began to miss Chu Jun. Unfortunately, some of the current princes are very old, some have already left before him, and some are not interested in being emperors. In desperation, Jiaqing, an upright young prince, entered the vision of Emperor Qianlong. After 60 years in office, Emperor Qianlong orally passed the throne to his fifteen sons, and he became a leisurely emperor. In fact, from the Qing Dynasty to the late Qianlong period, it had begun to decline, with serious land annexation, sharp class contradictions and fiscal deficit. Political corruption, official corruption and bribery are not uncommon. After Jiaqing succeeded to the throne, he always wanted to save the declining Qing Dynasty. In the fourth year of Jiaqing (1799), the first thing after Jiaqing took office was to get rid of He Kun, the biggest corrupt official in the world. He got more than 32,000 taels of gold from his home in Little Shenyang, more than 2 million taels of silver in the cellar, rented land 1266 hectares and other rented houses. After Xiao Shenyang died in Jiaqing, all his property was turned over to the state treasury. However, it is impossible for such money to make up for the loopholes in the system. The drawbacks of the bureaucratic system in the Qing dynasty became more and more serious, and the corruption of officials was not something that a weak monarch like Jiaqing could clean up. At this time, the Qing dynasty, like a patient with chronic diseases, began to break out in an all-round way. In officialdom, officials openly sell officials to collect money and suck the marrow of the people. The oppressed people rose up in succession, and large-scale peasant uprisings such as An Baili and Tian Li broke out in various places. Emperor Jiaqing was almost stabbed twice. Once, in the eighth year of Jiaqing (1803), on the way back to the palace from Yuanmingyuan, Emperor Jiaqing suddenly rushed out of a man to assassinate him, which startled Jiaqing's entourage. Later, it took some trouble to subdue the assassin. Later, I learned that the assassin's name was Cheng De, and he was a chef in Beijing. Emperor Jiaqing ordered all the six departments of Wang and Jiuqing to be called together, but he didn't say a word, only said, "If it works, the place where you sit is where I sit." Emperor Jiaqing relented and ordered Ling Chi to be executed. Others will not pursue it. Another time was in September of the 18th year of Jiaqing (18 13), when Emperor Jiaqing went hunting in Mulan paddock. Lin Qing, a peasant uprising army in Tianjin, a suburb of Beijing, decided to take advantage of the opportunity of the royal ministers and imperial guards in the Qing Dynasty to guard the palace. Seize the opportunity to capture the palace and overthrow the Qing Dynasty. On this day, under the guidance of Lin Qing, the insurgents disguised themselves as small traders, hid their weapons in mountain products, deceived the guards at the city gate and sneaked into the capital. Then, Lin Qing sent someone to get in touch with the insider in the palace. After finding out the actual situation in the palace, it is convenient to launch an attack at noon on June 5438+05. The insurgents led by Lin Qing attacked and killed the ouchi guards, rushed into Xihuamen, and then attacked Longzongmen along the Imperial Road. The guards of Longzongmen hurriedly closed the gate, and Lin Qing shot an arrow at Longzongmen, right in the middle of the plaque of Longzongmen. It is said that there are arrows shot by rebels on this plaque. After that, when the rebels saw that they could not attack Zonglongmen for a long time, they led a saber to the wall outside Yangxin Gate, trying to climb trees and attack the Inner Palace. At this time, the later Daoguang Emperor Suining attacked with muskets. The rebels were forced to evacuate under the attack of the Qing musket team. Later, after Jiaqing returned to the palace, he heard about it and was very shocked. He said, "Nothing happened, but it happened in the Great Qing Dynasty." To this end, Emperor Jiaqing personally went to the Temple of Heaven and Ditan to worship heaven and earth. Although Emperor Jiaqing had no talent. But he studied hard since childhood and was proficient in the four books and five classics. After he succeeded to the throne, he was very diligent. However, one person's strength can never save the whole declining Qing Dynasty. The complexity of state affairs, the corruption of officials, the struggles within the court, and the peasant uprisings of Bagua, women soldiers, Tian Li and Anbaili. All day, Emperor Jiaqing was at a loss and exhausted. Especially after the death of his half-brother Prince Qing, Emperor Jiaqing became more melancholy. On July 18th, 25th year of Jiaqing, Emperor Jiaqing drove from Yuanmingyuan to Mulan paddock outside chengde mountain resort for fun. At this time, Jiaqing is already an old man of 6 1 year. In order to ensure the safety of the emperor, the second prince, the fourth prince, Prince Rui, and ministers such as university students, military ministers, and ministers of internal affairs personally accompanied the escort. They set out from Yuanmingyuan and walked for seven days before arriving in chengde mountain resort. Because it was July and the weather was hot, on the way, the day after arriving in Chengde, Emperor Jiaqing fell ill. On the morning of 25th, Jiaqing suddenly felt phlegm upwelling, having difficulty in speaking, and his mind was bloated. The prince and his princes and ministers hurried to ask the doctor. And called the ministers such as Saichong and Tozin in. Who knows how long it will be before Emperor Jiaqing can speak? Doctor too much has never seen such a strange disease, and everyone feels helpless. At eight or nine o'clock in the evening, Emperor Jiaqing, a loyal minister, died mysteriously in the thunder and lightning on the dragon bed in Yanbo Hall at the age of sixty-one. After the death of Emperor Jiaqing, the Jehol Palace immediately blocked the news, and the gate of the summer resort was closed, restricting people from entering and leaving. Emperor Jiaqing died so suddenly that the coffin was not ready, and then the accompanying princes and ministers had to have the first meritorious deeds prepared in Beijing Palace transported to Chengde overnight. Emperor Jiaqing could not speak before his death, nor did he make any arrangements for his funeral. After his death, people didn't find a small gold box containing the imperial edict of succession behind the board. I don't know where the box that Jiaqing carried with him is. With the support of Home Secretary Xi En and the Empress Dowager, it was announced that Ning Min, the second son of the emperor, would inherit the throne. Due to these sudden changes, it was not until the second day of August that Daoguang publicly announced Jiaqing's death and informed the court. At that time, North Korean officials met with Qing officials in Zhongjiang, Shengjing. They are all dressed in plain clothes and their hats are off. I didn't know what happened, but later I learned that the emperor was dead. Because Emperor Jiaqing was fine when he left Beijing. He died so suddenly, and it was announced so late after his death. So that people began to talk about the cause of death of Emperor Jiaqing. Emperor Jiaqing was sixty-one years old and reigned for twenty-five years. Buried in Changling after death. The name of the temple is Emperor Renzong Rui, and the history is Emperor Jiaqing. He worked hard all his life and never made any mistakes. As for the cause of death of Emperor Jiaqing, official records all say that he died of illness. According to the temporary situation of Emperor Jiaqing recorded in the official history, later generations speculated that the sudden death of Emperor Jiaqing may be due to excessive anxiety and fatigue in the case of old age and obesity, and the hot weather led to sudden death of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Emperor Jiaqing was buried in Changling. After the completion of Changling in the eighth year of Jiaqing, it was first buried. In March of the first year of Daoguang, he was buried in Emperor Jiaqing, and the local officials closed here. But according to some members of the royal family, Emperor Jiaqing was killed by lightning. It is said that after Jiaqing and his party arrived at the summer resort, they took a short rest and led the Manchu minister and the guards to the Mulan paddock for hunting. As a result, I was caught in a heavy rain on my way back and was trapped in the wild. For a time, lightning and thunder shook the earth. Suddenly there was a light, and Emperor Jiaqing was shot down by lightning and died on the spot. In addition, some people say that Emperor Jiaqing did not die in the wild, but was electrocuted by lightning in the summer resort. Emperor Jiaqing spoiled a little eunuch, and they often met in the "Yunshan Resort". One day, the two of them were having a good time here when a thunderstorm suddenly started. At that time, lightning struck the small building, and Jiaqing was immediately electrocuted. Jiaqing was burned beyond recognition by lightning and could not be buried in a coffin. This kind of news is a major event related to the stability of the dynasty. So under the auspices of the emperor's second son Suining, he decided to temporarily block the news. The news of Jiaqing's sudden death will not be notified to Beijing for the time being. Then, secretly hanged a eunuch with similar appearance and material to Emperor Jiaqing, pretended to be in Jiaqing's coffin, and put the emperor's bones at the bottom of the coffin to hide people's eyes and ears. Of course, these statements are just legends and have no historical basis. There is no relevant record in the official history of the court. Moreover, even if Emperor Jiaqing was really killed by lightning, the official records dare not mention it. Because the emperor was struck by lightning and died, it was tantamount to treason and was condemned by heaven. Anyone who writes such a thing will make a big mistake.
