Ivory bracelets bought abroad are not allowed to enter the country. The Catalogue of Animals and Plants and Their Products Prohibited from Entering People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that horn products are not allowed to be brought into the country.

China laws prohibit the sale of ivory products, and those legally purchased abroad cannot be brought back to China. Once the ivory products are seized by the customs, they will violate the criminal law and be investigated for criminal responsibility on the charge of smuggling.

In some countries in Africa and Southeast Asia, you are allowed to take ivory products out of the country, but it is forbidden to bring them in at home.
