Kunming is actively building an international jewelry, jade and jadeite processing and trading base, gradually forming a trinity industrial structure of processing, display and sales, improving the industrialization level of local jewelry, jade and jadeite, and realizing the early return of jade to Yunnan. Yunnan is rich in jewelry, jade and jadeite resources, adjacent to Myanmar, the origin of jadeite raw materials in the world, and has always been known as jade out of Yunnan. In recent years, driven by tourism, jewelry and jade have become one of the image products and important tourist commodities in Kunming. In 2009, the total sales of jewelry and jade in Yunnan exceeded 654.38+084 billion yuan, of which jadeite exceeded 654.38+065 billion yuan. But overall, the jewelry and jade industry in Kunming has not yet formed a complete industrial chain and is in the terminal consumer market. Compared with the developed areas in the southeast coast, there is a big gap in technology, talents, processing and ideas. Therefore, Yunnan put forward the development strategy of jade returning to Yunnan.
In order to realize the goal of jade returning to Yunnan, Kunming National Economic and Technological Development Zone, relying on Kunming Export Processing Zone, strives to build Yunnan Ziyun Jade Bird International Jewelry Processing Trade Base, which integrates raw material import, design, processing, display, wholesale and retail. It has complete management services such as customs, banks and jade appraisal center, and can enjoy the dual preferential policies of Economic Development Zone and export processing zone, bonded logistics, bonded processing, bonded exhibition, bonded export and bonded export. At the same time, the processing chain is extended based on jadeite raw materials, and an industrial pattern of processing, display and sales is gradually formed.
The Jade Fair is hosted by Kunming Municipal Government and Hong Kong Jade Chamber of Commerce, and undertaken by Kunming Economic Development Zone Management Committee and Yunnan Ziyun Jade Bird Jewelry Industry Co., Ltd.
