Later, according to the poem "Stop and sit in the maple forest late, the frost leaves are red in February" in Tang Du Mu's Mountain Walk, it was renamed Love Night Pavilion. The pavilion was destroyed in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, rebuilt on 1952 and overhauled on 1987. The pavilion with double eaves and eight columns, glazed tiles and pavilion corners fly up, which looks like flying from a distance.
There are painted algae wells in the pavilion, and the "Love Evening Pavilion" on the east and west sides of the pavilion is written in gold on a red background, which was personally inscribed by Li Da, then president of Hunan University. He invited President Mao Zedong to write a letter. There is a monument in the pavilion, engraved with the poem "Qinyuanchun Changsha" inscribed by President Mao Zedong, which makes the ancient pavilion colorful. The pavilion is surrounded by mountains on three sides, more than ten feet east, horizontal and vertical, and green and flowing springs.
There is a pool in front of the pavilion, peach Liu Chengxing. Surrounded by maple trees, the mountains are covered with red leaves in late autumn. Love Evening Pavilion (formerly known as Hongye Pavilion, also known as Ai Feng) is located in Xia Qingfeng Gorge, Yuelu Mountain, Changsha City, Hunan Province. It is a national 5A-level tourist attraction and revolutionary activity resort.
Cultural relics protection units in Hunan Province, together with Taoranting, Huxinting and Zuiweng Pavilion, are called the four famous pavilions in China. It was named after "stopping to sit in the maple forest late" in Du Mu's Mountain Walk.
Love Night Pavilion was founded by Luo Dian, Dean of Yuelu College, on 1792. Its pavilion shape is double eaves and eight columns, glazed tiles, and the pavilion angle rises. The interior is a red lacquer garden column, the four stone columns outside the eaves are granite, and the pavilion is painted with algae wells.
The "Love Night Pavilion" hung on the east and west sides was written by Li Da, then president of Hunan University, and Mao Zedong was invited to write an inscription.
