Plot introduction:
This film is based on a real event, which took place in Raja, India in 1995. It is rare for a farmer at the bottom of society to catch voles by relying on other people's fields.
Raja and his wife live in a shabby thatched cottage. The house leaks rain and has no shelter from the wind and rain. Raja promised his wife that she would build a brick house in her lifetime.
Although poor, they are hardworking and kind. Raja usually helps rich people catch snakes, and his income is meager. When he catches a snake and sees it in a corner, he will take the initiative to return the ring to his owner.
My wife is pregnant and needs more money. In order to support his family, he had to leave home to move bricks in a kiln farther away. Unexpectedly, there was something wrong when I left.
The jewelry of the mayor's house was stolen, and Raja, who once caught snakes for them, became the biggest suspect because he left a lot of fingerprints. A group of policemen rushed to Raja's home angrily, but they couldn't find Raja. The police took the pregnant wife away by force. Brothers, sisters and other relatives were also taken to the police station.
They think Raja's family is protecting him. In order to bring Raja to justice as soon as possible, torture was used to extract confessions.
But Raja knows nothing about it. It was not until he made some money that he was stopped on his way home. In the face of the crime, Raja denied it in every way and even swore by his children.
But the police wouldn't listen. In order to force him to confess, they used cruel means.
