Let's look at an example through pictures.
The first picture on the left is sales data, which only lists a few brands.
Traditionally, to make a pie chart of categories and brands, many pieces need to be made: at least one pie chart of brands should be made for each category.
Let's review to see the effect of making a pie chart (as shown on the right below), which is very intuitive. Show the proportion of categories first, and then highlight the brands in the categories.
2. First, select all the sales data in the table (because the data in the second pie chart = the data in the first pie chart sports category, and the data in the category table should not be selected repeatedly, as shown in the right figure below), select the Insert tab in the ribbon, and click Pie Chart → Composite Pie Chart in the chart.
At this time, the composite pie chart just took shape and needs to be adjusted.
3. Delete the legend on the right side of the pie chart.
Select the pie chart with the mouse, right-click to pop up the menu and find "formatted data series".
Click to display the Format Data Series dialog box. Change the value to the right of "The second drawing area contains the last one" to "3", resize the second drawing area, and then close the dialog box. (The second drawing area refers to the second pie chart, and the data given here is only three brands, so the value is 3. )
4. In the chart, select the pie chart, right-click and select Add Data Label. Pop up the data label format dialog box, check the category name, percentage and value in the label options, and other options can be adjusted as needed, then close the dialog box.
5. Finally, just beautify yourself.
