What is Evodia rutaecarpa, a good medicine for warming the middle warmer and relieving pain?
According to legend, during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, Wu had a herb called Evodia rutaecarpa. At that time, Wu was a small country and paid tribute to Chu every year. One year, the envoy of Wu sent a tribute to Evodia rutaecarpa, but the greedy king of Chu was so angry that he wouldn't let the envoy of Wu say anything and drove him out of the palace. At that time, there was a doctor in Chu named Zhu, an old friend of the envoy of the State of Wu, so he took him home. Wu Shi elaborated that Evodia rutaecarpa is Wu's first-class medicinal material, which can cure stomach cold and abdominal pain, and stop vomiting and diarrhea. I heard that the king had an old abdominal pain, so I offered it. I didn't expect the king to ... Dr. Zhu kindly comforted him and left Evodia rutaecarpa for safekeeping. The following year, the king of Chu suddenly relapsed with a cold, abdominal pain and a cold sweat. The civil servants in the Qing Dynasty were at a loss. When Dr. Zhu saw the opportunity, he quickly fried Evodia rutaecarpa and presented it to the king of Chu, and the medicine was cured. The king of Chu was overjoyed, rewarded Dr. Wu and asked about the source of medicine. Dr. Zhu mentioned that the envoy of the State of Wu offered medicine last year. The king of Chu regretted it and sent someone to apologize to Wu. A few years later, there was a plague in Chu, and patients with abdominal pain and vomiting were everywhere in the country. Evodia rutaecarpa has saved many lives. Seeing his great help, the king of Chu ordered a reward for Dr. Zhu. In order to thank Dr. Zhu, the people of Chu changed the name of Evodia rutaecarpa to Evodia rutaecarpa. Later, medical scientists added a cursive prefix before the word Zhu, which was officially named Evodia rutaecarpa, and it has been used ever since.
