Taishan ganoderma lucidum jade and Taishan snowflake jade are indeed produced in Taishan mountain range, but these two kinds of jade are not as rare and expensive as Taishan moyu or Xinjiang hetian jade, and the hardness of jade is not very great. According to the Mohs hardness of jade, Hetian jade is about 6.5, Moyu jade is about 5.9, while Ganoderma lucidum jade is only 3-4, and snowflake jade is softer, about 2-3. It's no good for carving, but both kinds of jade are beautiful, so it's good for viewing and collecting.
