Diamond color grade:
Colorless is the best, and the darker the tone, the worse the quality. In the classification of colorless diamonds, the top color is D color, which is arranged down to Z in turn. Here, only the color scales from D to J are mentioned. D-F is a colorless color scale, and G-J is close to a colorless color scale. Starting from K, there is basically no collection significance, and the ring holders below K color are also very beautiful.
Because diamonds will gradually turn yellow from K, when choosing diamonds, the color above H is chosen, and the I-J grade is also in the near colorless category, but diamonds with a slight yellow color can also be detected.

The reason why the color of diamonds starts from D:
Before GIA founded the D-Z color grading system, there were many other name grading systems in the market, such as English letters A, B and C (which were not clearly defined when used), Arabic numerals (0, 1, 2,3), Roman letters (I, II and III), and descriptive words such as "sapphire blue" or "blue and white".
In view of this, GIA decided to create a brand-new color grading system, which has nothing to do with the earlier system. GIA hierarchy begins with the letter D. Because GIA hierarchy is clear and clear, it is quickly accepted by the public, and other hierarchies are gradually abandoned.
Definition of colored diamonds:
The natural colored diamond outside the ordinary color range is called "colored diamond". In the United States, the United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has not provided any guidelines for using the term "color", but it has been recognized in international trade that colored diamonds are yellow or brown diamonds that are darker than the color of Z-grade colorimetric stones, or diamonds with colors other than yellow or brown.
