Kunming, the capital of Yunnan, has convenient transportation and is a relatively large jade distribution center. Jing xing Flower and Bird Market and Xiaolong Sifang Street are relatively concentrated areas of jade shops, with many products, high, middle and low grade. But it's so complicated that it's generally difficult to tell the truth from the false. If there is no good discrimination, it is difficult to buy jade with high cost performance. There are also many jade shops in Kunming, which are basically guaranteed to be real jade, but the price is relatively high and it is difficult to bargain.
2. Buy jade in Lijiang, go to dali.
Dali and Lijiang are both tourist attractions, and jade shops can be seen everywhere, but the grades are relatively average, mostly small jadeites carved by machines, and the prices range from several hundred to several thousand yuan. However, there are many fake jadeites in tourist attractions, so be careful when buying them.
3. Go to Tengchong Ruili to buy jade.
Tengchong Ruili is closest to Myanmar mining area, far from Kunming, with backward traffic and fewer tourists than Kunming and Lijiang, so the price of jadeite is more realistic. In Ruili, you will often meet Burmese wandering in the street and buying jade by the roadside. Tourists had better ignore it, because nine times out of ten it is fake jade.
