Jewelry and jade quality inspector (CGC), also known as national registered appraiser, refers to a professional and technical person who has passed the national unified examination, obtained the qualification certificate of quality inspector and registered to engage in jewelry business activities. After passing the examination, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine will issue the qualification certificate of jewelry and jade quality inspector, which will be uniformly printed by the Ministry of Personnel and stamped by the Ministry of Personnel and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine. This certificate is valid nationwide. At present, it is the highest personal certification in the national jewelry and jade appraisal.
The examination system for quality inspectors of jewelry and jade was implemented from 1997, and the first batch of quality inspectors was born on129 October. Up to now, there are 797 registered appraisers in China. Exam every two years.
The state implements registration management for the qualification of quality inspectors, and registration is conducted once every three years. During this period, the quality inspector must always be engaged in the work related to the quality inspection of jewelry and jade, and receive a certain period of re-education to ensure that he constantly updates his knowledge, masters the latest quality inspection technology, and maintains a high professional level. 1. Obtained secondary school education in jewelry and jade specialty (including geology) and engaged in jewelry and jade appraisal and inspection for 5 years; Or obtain a secondary school degree in this major and have been engaged in professional work for 7 years.
2. Obtain a college degree in a related major and have been engaged in professional work for 2 years; Or obtain a college degree in this major and have been engaged in professional work for 4 years.
3. Obtain a bachelor's degree in relevant major and have been engaged in professional work for 1 year; Non-undergraduate degree, engaged in professional work for 3 years.
4. Obtain a master's degree or above in related majors and have been engaged in professional work for half a year; Or obtain a master's degree or above in a non-professional field and have been engaged in professional work for 1 year.
5. Employed as a professional engineer in jewelry and jade (including geology) or above.
6. Obtain the qualification examination certificate of jewelry and jade inspection which has great influence abroad. The basic theory of gemology and related laws and regulations,
Gemmology professional knowledge,
Gem identification,
Identification and classification of diamonds.
Among them, the first two subjects are theoretical examination and closed-book written examination;
The last two subjects are practical exams, which require candidates to use instruments for practical operation. The exam is held every two years, usually in early July. The examination time for a single subject is 3 hours.
