People have seen the King of Song, and the tin car is multiplied by ten, and Zhuangzi is ten times more arrogant. Zhuangzi said, "There is a poor family on the river, who was born by virtue of his latitude. His son has no Yuan, and he got a golden ball. His father said to his son, "Take a stone and forge it!" " ! My husband's daughter's pearl must be in the nine abyss, under the dragon's chin, and the child who can get the pearl will sleep. It would be nice to let the jackal fan the dragon! "Today, the depth of the Song Kingdom is not nine times straight; Wang Songzhi is fierce, not straight dragon. If a child can get a car, he will sleep. The king of Song was dumbfounded, and his son was a dusty man! "
There are two words in this passage that are difficult to grasp and affect translation. One is "no" and the other is "his son has no spare yuan". It is not clear whether he slipped into the water or dived into it voluntarily. If it is a slip into the water, then the child is lucky to get the jewelry, which may be more in line with Zhuang Zhou's original intention. Later generations seem to believe that the child dived into the water on his own initiative, and some even developed a rich imagination, saying that the child was afraid of poverty and was bent on changing the status quo. He often heard that there are many treasures at the bottom of the river, but because there is a black dragon, it is difficult to get them. The child's heart of "thinking about change if he is poor" is too strong. Ignoring his own safety, he jumped into the water to get the jewels. Perhaps it was "daring to be an artist" or he was lucky enough to fall asleep when he met the black dragon, so he got the pearl of his daughter under the black dragon's chin. This beautiful situation is indeed staged in today's society and is told as an inspirational story.
The other is the word "forging", which means "forging with stones". Is it to hammer the gem with a stone, or is there another meaning? If it's because his son got the jewels, his father is afraid that the black dragon will wake up and hunt them down. There's no need to smash the jewels. You can return it to its original owner and throw it directly into the river, or wait for the black dragon to come and return it to Zhao intact, otherwise the jewelry will be broken and the consequences will be very serious. In this way, taking stone forging beads has another meaning. What does that mean?
Zhuangzi said this fable said that in order to fight back against the upstart who showed off in front of him, he said that his wealth was purely accidental, and so on. Xiao Wei's family should also be lucky and rich. According to common sense, his father couldn't believe his eyes about this "unexpected" thing, and he needed further verification. So I took the stone forging beads to verify the authenticity of the jewelry. Real jewelry will be harder than stone, and broken stones are not jewelry.
Pear and bamboo, a rare treasure, may be disliked by only a few people like Zhuang Zhou, and most people admire it. The ancients gave pear and bamboo many beautiful meanings, such as Tang Qiudan's "getting pear and bamboo into the sea, living in the phoenix", and pear and bamboo generally refer to Zhu Bao; Su Shi's "white hair will give birth to light, and there are 34 beads on the sleeve", which is a metaphor for poetry; Tang Mengjiao "encourages Zheng Fuzi and Li Shishi to have babies", and Li Zhuyu is a talent; Jacky said in the clouds that "the basket is full of round Li Zhu, and the entrance is sweet and cold", and Li Zhu is like a grape; Xu Yuanyan said, "The piano and the instrument are combined, the geese are fully combined, and the music rests on the beads." Beads symbolize the mellow and beautiful singing; Liu Xie in the Southern Dynasties said that "Wei compiled three unique skills, which consolidated the profound knowledge of all the scholars", and profound knowledge was a treasure house.
"Looking for pearls" is an idiom derived from Zhuangzi's fable, but its meaning has changed greatly. The metaphor article is profound in meaning and concise in wording, and its direct source should be Bai Juyi's allusion to Liu Yuxi. During the Changqing period in Tang Muzong, four friends Bai Juyi, Yuan Zhen, Liu Yuxi and Wei Chuke got together. Poetry gathering should be elegant, so we discussed how to write a poem about the old days in Xipaotai Mountain. Liu Yuxi won the first prize, which was the poem that was sung later. The poem said: "Since Wang Jun came down from Yizhou with his towering boat, the imperial ghost has languished in Nanjing. The long Zhang Qian chain sank to the bottom of the river, and a flag was lowered on the stone wall. How many sad past in life, the mountains still remain cold. Today, every sea is home, and ancient fortresses are full of ruins and autumn reeds. " Seeing this, Bai Juyi said, "The four of us are exploring dragons, but we have to get pearls first in our dreams. What's the use of waiting for us to get it? " The other two people may agree with Bai, but they are ashamed to write.
