The predecessor of Shanghai Laofengxiang Jewelry Store, Fengxiang Yuji Jewelry Store, was founded in 1848 (the 28th year of Qing Daoguang). 1908 (Guangxu 34) moved to Nanjing East Road (now No.432 Nanjing East Road), and this former site is now Laofengxiang Head Office.

Ilgen Jueluo Kang Sheng, the founder of Hongkong Long Fengxiang Jewelry, was endowed with a yellow flag in Manzhou during Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty, and the magistrate was added to Hualing Road, so his family was very well-off. He came to Hong Kong in the first year of the Republic of China (A.D. 19 12) and opened the "Long Fengxiang Silver House" in the famous Denton Old Street.
