Zhoujia Town is located between Tongluo Mountain and Mingyue Mountain in Dazhu County. In 2000, it was named as a pilot town for the construction of small towns in Sichuan Province. The inter-provincial Zhu Hui Expressway (Sanhui-Dazhu-Dianjiang) and the county Taoist Temple Luwen (Guanyin-Wenxing) run through the whole territory. There are medium-sized reservoirs (Pingqiao Reservoir) 1 seat and 4 small reservoirs in the jurisdiction, and the infrastructure conditions such as water conservancy road communication are good. It has a third-class first-class hospital, a municipal demonstration kindergarten, a municipal demonstration primary school and a municipal demonstration middle school. In 2006, the gross domestic product reached 3 1 100 million yuan, the total grain supply was10.9 million tons, the fiscal revenue was 2 million yuan, the per capita GDP reached 5,600 yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 3,402 yuan.
