We all know that this is an ancient site in Shang and Zhou Dynasties. This area covers an area of 5 square kilometers. There are palaces, places of worship, residential areas and cemeteries. A large number of ancient sites have been collected. Less than one-tenth of them were excavated. More than 1000 cultural relics were found here. In addition, the level of these cultural relics is relatively high, and the first-class cultural relics account for more than 30%. It can be inferred that there must be a large number of cultural relics in other nine-tenths of the areas, which are very precious.
Sunbird gold ornaments are very light in weight and are the cultural relics with the highest gold content in Jinsha Site. In the middle of the decoration is a radiant sun surrounded by four sacred birds. The whole pattern is hollowed out and carved, just like our paper-cutting. I saw the golden paper-cut for the first time. In order to protect this gold ornament, experts want to copy it with modern technology, so when foreign countries offer to visit cultural relics, we can confidently agree, but several experiments have failed. Four years later, this gold ornament was included in China Heritage, and its design was designated as a symbol of China Heritage.
In addition to the gold ornaments of this sunbird, some special cultural relics have been unearthed. It is precisely because of the excavation of these cultural relics that Jinsha site was closed by experts and excavation was prohibited. What are these cultural relics? Why are they so influential? These relics are a batch of ivory, a kind of ivory with more than 1000 pieces, and some fragments, which cannot be recycled because of incomplete fragments. These ivory weigh more than one ton. The longest is1.85m long. According to dental chemical identification, its species is Asian elephant.
