Jewelry appreciation is an art course and an elective course for all students.

"Interest is the best teacher." This truth, which has been tested countless times, is still unimpeded here, so I don't want to miss a class, because this appreciation class, like the gem itself, is eye-catching, full of freshness, interest and happiness. I don't want to leave other things at all, but the freedom you gave us, I have to admit that I still missed two classes for some reason. The class is over, and the regret is still there, but at least there is something to regret. Although I don't have many pleasing jewels and jade articles, even none, if it weren't for this course, maybe I wouldn't have the opportunity to know it and understand it. Understanding is a kind of harvest, and harvest is another kind of happiness.

In my opinion, it is not only the intellectual level, but also the spiritual level. The course itself is a kind of taste, but it is not the only thing we pursue. The word taste is too abstract and contains too many things. It can abstract concrete things and show them from concrete things. If this course is concrete, I do know its basic knowledge: the meaning, classification and naming of jewelry and jade, and it has also gone out of many conceptual or ideological misunderstandings. It turns out that not all sapphires are blue. All kinds of jewels and jade can be written into a thick dictionary for people to read from the source to the market and their allusions. The study of their mineralogical basis, physical properties, optical properties, mechanical properties and color characteristics has enabled us to have a good understanding of jewels and jade. Although it's a little obscure for me as a liberal arts student, I'm still willing to accept its essential name, which adds some common sense to some extent. The long and rich jewelry and jade culture, accompanied by sparkling charm, integrates natural beauty and artificial art beauty, unconsciously cultivates people's sentiment, makes people acquire noble taste, and thus improves cultural and artistic quality and cultivation.
