Ruili is located in the west of Yunnan Province and belongs to dehong autonomous prefecture. It's located at number 97. 3 1' ~ 98. 02' 23 E. 38 ′ ~ 24. North latitude14 ′. It is connected with mangshi in the east, Longchuan in the north, Myanmar mountains and rivers in the northwest, southwest and southeast, facing the village and adjacent to Muse, a national port city in Myanmar.

Ruili is the largest inland port in southwest China, an important jewelry distribution center and one of the first excellent tourist cities in China. Ruili is also one of the national 17 land port cities, and it is the first stop for the China-Myanmar oil and gas pipeline to enter China.

Ruili transportation network takes national and provincial trunk highways as the main arteries, rural highways such as counties and townships as branch arteries, and hubs such as transportation stations and yards as nodes, forming a large channel network, skeleton network, branch network and border highway "three networks and one road".

On the basis of skeleton transportation network, highway network connects towns, villages, tourist attractions, large ethnic minority villages, characteristic agricultural industrial zones, characteristic industrial zones and key natural villages.
