Laoshe Teahouse is named after the people's artist Mr. Laoshe and his famous plays. Founded in 1988, the existing business area is more than 3,300 square meters. It is a multi-functional comprehensive teahouse integrating a book teahouse, a catering teahouse and a teahouse. In this antique and Beijing-flavored environment, you can enjoy a wonderful national art performance such as Beijing Opera, Quyi, acrobatics, magic and face changing every day, as well as various famous teas, court delicacies, traditional Beijing snacks and Beijing-flavored delicacies. Mention "Laoshe Teahouse", not only in Beijing, but also in other cities and even abroad, many people know this name. Laoshe Teahouse has become the "city card" of Beijing, the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties and an international metropolis.

Now there are five or six hundred teahouses in Beijing. Why only Laoshe Teahouse enjoys the reputation of "city card"? First, because it started with a big bowl of tea at 20 cents, it is the first teahouse opened in Beijing after the reform and opening up. Second, because the teahouse is named after Mr. Lao She, who is one of the representatives of Beijing flavor culture and has a high reputation. Third, because Laoshe Teahouse has a taste. What is that smell? Beijing flavor, of course. People go into teahouses not only to taste tea, but also to taste the cultural atmosphere. These two things are occupied by Lao She Teahouse. So it is not famous. Who is famous?

Of course, Laoshe Teahouse can enjoy a good reputation in Beijing. In addition to the above three points, there is one thing that cannot be ignored, that is, the reputation and popularity of Mr. Yin Shengxi, the founder of the teahouse. To tell the truth, Yin Shengxi's tuba is inseparable from Lao She's Beijing Teahouse. When people mention Laoshe Teahouse, they will naturally think of Yin Shengxi. Similarly, when they talk about Yin Shengxi, they also think of Lao She Teahouse. If Laoshe Teahouse is a body, then Yin Shengxi is its soul. In other words, without Yin Shengxi, there would be no Laoshe Teahouse. Without Laoshe Teahouse, Yin Shengxi wouldn't have such a high reputation. Mr. Yin died in June 2003, but Lao She Teahouse is still there, as if Mr. Yin were still alive. When people go to Laoshe Teahouse, they will still talk about Mr. Yin's behavior and deeds. People don't think Mr. Yin is "left". A person's name and image can keep pace with a teahouse, which is rare at all times and in all countries.

Yin Shengxi's name was originally associated with a large bowl of tea with 20 cents. 1979, at the beginning of the reform and opening up, people's understanding of the market economy was still in a hazy state, so Lao Yin led a group of unemployed young people to set up a tea stall in Qianmen Street. This was a sensation, and naturally Lao Yin also appeared in newspapers and TV as a typical example of reform and opening up. It took Lao Yin nearly eight years to get from the tea stall to the teahouse. It is not difficult to imagine how much effort and sweat it takes to open a teahouse with a bowl of tea for twenty cents. Old Yin survived the "eight-year war of resistance". 1987165438+10, when the opening ceremony of Laoshe Teahouse was held, people could not help but shine for the opening of this teahouse. You know, there was no decent teahouse in the huge capital at that time. Lao Yin became the first person to "eat crabs".

I interviewed Lao Yin when Lao She Teahouse was founded. Although after the teahouse opened, many cultural celebrities and artists came to join in, and several central leaders visited the teahouse accompanied by the heads of the municipal government and district government, the operation of the teahouse was not ideal. Some media have raised objections to the division of tea in the teahouse, arguing that the threshold of Laoshe Teahouse is too high for ordinary people to enter, and Laoshe Teahouse is not a teahouse for ordinary people. To tell the truth, Lao Yin was under great psychological pressure. Times have changed, society has progressed, people's living standards and quality of life are getting higher and higher, and cultural needs are becoming more and more diversified. What kind of teahouse should Beijing open? Old Yin thought about this for a long time.

I once talked to old Shen Yin and found that his mood was very complicated. On the one hand, it is difficult for him to give up the "big bowl of tea complex" of 20 cents a bowl. On the other hand, he tried to build a modern teahouse that can fully display Beijing-style culture and has a certain grade and taste, making it a "window" of urban culture. It is difficult to fully integrate these two points. Lao Yin is an old Beijinger. There are many teahouses in old Beijing. There are five main types of teahouse in old Beijing, namely, big teahouse, book teahouse, chess teahouse, wild teahouse and second teahouse. Compared with the teahouses in the south, the conditions in these teahouses are very simple. Two huts, a few square tables and benches, a stove and a big teapot can open a teahouse. Wild Teahouse refers to the setting up of a shed and several small square tables at the border of suburbs or urban-rural fringe to attract passers-by to stop and play a certain role. It's also a teahouse. Judging from modern civilization, this kind of old-fashioned teahouse is out of date, although these old-fashioned teahouses are very tasty. However, it is obviously out of touch with modern life to let modern people go to this dimly lit, smoky and noisy place and drink tea in the dust. After careful consideration, Lao Yin chose the latter, that is, to run a teahouse with both Beijing cultural characteristics and modern life flavor. Now it seems that his choice is correct. In a sense, it is precisely because of the model of Laoshe Teahouse founded by Lao Yin that various new teahouses reflecting tea culture appeared in Beijing later.

Lao Yin tried his best to run Laoshe Teahouse, and spent most of his life in it. He took Laoshe Teahouse as a big stage to show Beijing flavor culture. We can appreciate these situations from the contents of this book. Most of the chapters in this book are about the tea ceremony, tea art, tea margin and tea culture in Laoshe Teahouse, with detailed contents. After reading it, we will feel the good intention of Lao Yin to establish Laoshe Teahouse and the cultural connotation of Laoshe Teahouse.

Under the banner of Laoshe Teahouse, Lao Yin set up a business group and did a lot of business. The group is engaged in commercial trade, jewelry business, tourism product development, hotel catering, lei feng memorial and other social welfare undertakings. But no matter what business he does, he always takes Lao She Teahouse as the center and never forgets his old job. On the one hand, this "teahouse complex" shows his love for the ancient capital culture, on the other hand, it also shows that he never forgets his roots. Now, Lao Yin's teahouse is being expanded by his daughter Yin Zhijun. Yin Zhijun belongs to the young people who have grown up in the new era. Although her understanding of old Beijing culture is not as profound as her father Shen Yin's, she is deeply impressed by her father, and she grew up in an alley and received a systematic higher education, so her enthusiasm for Beijing culture is no less than her father's. This love, after she took over Laoshe Teahouse, has been integrated into a series of business ideas. As far as thinking and understanding of traditional culture are concerned, Xiao Yin is not worse than his father. Really should be the old saying, the waves behind the Yangtze River push the waves before, and the generation is stronger than the generation, and shine on you is better than the blue.

Focus on taste and originality. This is the way Yin Zhijun manages Laoshe Teahouse. Soon after taking over her father's class, she carefully inspected the current situation of Beijing Teahouses, and then humbly asked experts and consultants. Soon, she came to a conclusion: to run a teahouse, we should not only keep the characteristics, but also keep pace with the times, and we must never stick to the rules and eat our father's money.

She seems to have more courage than her father. In 2002, she invested 6.5438+0 million yuan to completely transform the second floor of the original Laoshe Teahouse, and built a "quadrangle" on the second floor. After the antique quadrangle teahouse opened, it attracted tea customers from all directions. Then, she invested several hundred thousand yuan to fully develop Beijing snacks. She invited famous snacks such as tripe tripe, mutton head, noodles tea, donkey's hoof biscuits and milk tofu to Laoshe Teahouse. These measures not only enrich the original cultural connotation of Laoshe Teahouse, but also expand its cultural extension, so that people can not only listen to drum books, storytelling and cross talk for pleasure, but also taste authentic snacks to satisfy their appetite. Xiaoyin really likes to use his brains when he runs a teahouse, and there are many innovations. Of course, Yin Zhijun's measures have just begun. According to her thinking, she wants Lao She Teahouse to go abroad, even in the future. These, we can all experience in this book. Writing a book for Laoshe Teahouse was a great wish of Mr. Yin Shengxi before his death, and now his daughter Yin Zhijun has realized his wish. This book is voluminous, with hundreds of thousands of words. It talks about tea ceremony, tea affairs and tea classics by quoting classics, and vividly describes the experiences and anecdotes of Lao She's teahouse. The content is detailed and concrete, and the language is plain and simple, which has certain reference value for us to understand Lao She's Teahouse and how to open a teahouse. Of course, this book also has some regrets, such as not writing the spiritual world and personality charm of Mr. Yin Shengxi, the founder of Laoshe Teahouse. I didn't write the touching experience of how Yin Zhijun took over his father's class with a lofty sense of mission and made Laoshe Teahouse brilliant again. Of course, this book is devoted to the tea in the teahouse, and it is impossible to cover everything in Laoshe teahouse. I think if it is possible to write a book about Mr. Yin Shengxi and Lao She Teahouse in the future, it will be more exciting and attractive with Lao Yin as the center. A person "left" and left the teahouse. A person "goes", but his name is associated with a teahouse, which makes future generations forget. This may be the best monument after a person dies.

A person left, still alive. Because the teahouse he runs is still there, people will think of this person when they drink tea and talk about this person. This may be the value of a person's life.

From these two points of view, Laoshe Teahouse is worth mentioning. Mr. Yin Shengxi deserves a book.

Laoshe Teahouse, with simple and elegant furnishings, is full of Beijing flavor. Square tables, armchairs, palace lanterns hanging from the roof, Xiao Mu brand with famous teas such as Longjing and Wulong on the counter, and calligraphy and painting couplets hanging on the wall make visitors feel as if they have entered an old Beijing folk museum.

Laoshe Teahouse attracts a large number of guests every day-both old opera fans from Beijing, tourists from all over the country and foreign guests. Since the teahouse opened, famous artists such as Ma, Ma, Ma, Ma, Ma, Ma and Ma have performed here. Beijing is a gathering place of folk culture, and excellent local traditional programs are also staged in teahouses every day, such as Guan Xueceng's Qin Shu in Beijing, Sun Shujun's Jingyun Drum, Ma Zenghui's Danxian, and Ma Yuping's Henan pendant. The performances of the old artists let the audience feel the rich folk culture of Beijing while enjoying it. Folk arts such as lamps and drums (in which actors sing with lighted candles in their mouths) and double reed, which were almost lost, have also been reborn and carried forward here.

In Laoshe Teahouse, you can not only enjoy the wonderful performances of celebrities from all walks of life, such as Quyi and Drama, but also participate in many cultural activities such as piano, chess, books, paintings and "opera fans' music". Laoshe Teahouse also organized its own tea performance team to perform tea performances of oolong tea, peasant tea, jasmine tea and other famous teas. In recent years, Laoshe Teahouse has opened a "Big Bowl Tea Restaurant", which specially invites famous chefs from century-old shops such as Jinyang Restaurant and Quanjude, covering Beijing, Shanxi, Shandong and other places, with a wide variety, excellent taste and local flavor.

Laoshe Teahouse not only provides a place for tourists to display China's tea culture and national art, but also attracts foreign tourists. Former US President George W. Bush, former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, former Japanese Prime Minister Junshu Kaibu Junshu, former Russian Prime Minister primakov, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, Princess Sirindhorn of Thailand and other dignitaries were all guests here.

Laoshe Teahouse has a business area of1500m2, which can accommodate 250 people to watch the program at the same time. The big bowl tea restaurant has a business area of 500 square meters and can accommodate 150 people at the same time. There is a parking lot downstairs in front, which can park 100 cars at the same time.

Laoshe Teahouse, which integrates tea tasting, catering, theatre watching and performance, has become a new tourist attraction for Chinese and foreign guests and a well-known cultural brand at home and abroad.
