Artificial strontium boroaluminate has no radiation, which is an environmentally-friendly luminescent material and a new multifunctional health-care decoration. Artificial strontium boroaluminate is a new crystal invented by China people and a new name for jewelry and jade.

It is the "Table A.5 artificial gem Names" on page 11in the new national standard "Names of Jewelry and Jade" (GB/T 16552-20 1), which was implemented in February. Before this, people called it "luminous jade" or "luminous gem", because when applying for national standards, it must be named after the main components in artificial gem's chemical formula according to international practice, and it should be called "strontium boroaluminate". The naming rules of "artificial gem" must be preceded by the word "artificial", so it is called "human strontium boroaluminate".
