The inspection fee for each piece of jewelry is RMB 100. It usually takes 2 to 3 days to complete a test task.

Consumers from all over the country can go to the gold jewelry quality inspection station under the Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision in this area for testing. Among them, there are six testing institutions authorized by AQSIQ in Beijing, namely National Jewelry Appraisal Center, National Jewelry Appraisal Center, Gemological Appraisal Center of Peking University, Gaode Gemological Appraisal Institute, Gemological Appraisal Center of China Geo University and Gemological Appraisal Center of China Gemological Association. Every piece of jewelry sold by domestic merchants has an appraisal certificate, but international testing institutions only appraise individual high-grade jewelry or bare stones.
