Myitkyina (place name of Myanmar)

The important origin of Burmese jadeite is Myitkyina. You can reach Myitkyina in Kachin State from Shan State to the north (see attached map), but it is not clear whether you can buy it directly at Kengkou. I believe that Kengkou sells raw jadeite. If you are currently in the Fourth Special Zone in eastern Shan State, Myanmar, you can go to the "Mengla Jewelry and Jade Headquarters" (Golden Triangle Jewelry Palace) to inquire.

Note: More than 90% of jadeite in the world is produced in Myanmar, and it has been confirmed that gem-grade jadeite raw materials in the world are only produced in Myitkyina, Myanmar.
