When planting wampee, sandy loam with annual average temperature above 20℃ and monthly average temperature above 6+ 10℃ should be selected. There is plenty of sunshine, cold air is not easy to accumulate, and there are abundant water sources nearby. The soil layer is thick, loose and fertile, well drained, slightly acidic, and hilly and gentle slopes are the best.
Build a mound with a height of 15cm at the planting site, chop the soil with a hoe in the center of the mound, and dig a small pit. When planting, the plant should be straight, the roots will naturally extend into the hole, backfill fine soil and gently compact it. The planting depth should be 4-5cm higher than the root neck. Support and fix the seedlings with bamboo poles, cover the mound with straw, spray sufficient water, and then water according to the situation to keep the soil moist.
