How long is the Haiyin Bridge in Guangzhou?
Haiyin Bridge is located in the center of Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, across the Pearl River, 2.5km away from Haizhu Bridge, with a total length of114m. The aperture arrangement is 35+85.5+ 175+85.5+35 (m). The main bridge is a prestressed concrete cable-stayed bridge with twin towers and single cable plane, with a span of 175m. The piers are double-row thin-walled flexible piers, which can meet the large temperature deformation and avoid setting large-tonnage sliding bearings. The tower is about 60 meters high and its facade is inverted Y-shaped. Fan-shaped cables are arranged, and the cable spacing is 5m. There are 6 lanes on the bridge deck with a width of 35m. The main girder adopts inverted trapezoidal box section. The cantilever of the roof is 7.5 meters long. This bridge has a good wind-resistant section. The temperature stress problem adopts a unique design structure and treatment method to adapt to the situation of large temperature difference at the bridge site. The main girder construction adopts a unique method of pouring the middle box first and then pouring the side boxes on both sides, and adopts hanging basket construction instead of rigid skeleton. 1988 was completed and opened to traffic. Designed by Shanghai Municipal Engineering Design Institute and constructed by Guangdong Basic Engineering Company.
