Wenfeng Tower
Wenfeng Temple, located on the bank of Nanyun River in Yangzhou City, was built in the 10th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1582). It is the only remaining pavilion-style ancient tower in Yangzhou. The tower is 47 meters high, with seven floors and eight sides. There is a stone tablet of "Ancient Canal" under the tower. Tianzhongta
Gao _ Temple, located at the intersection of the ancient canal and Yiyang River in the southern suburbs of Yangzhou, was built in the eighth year of Qing Shunzhi (165 1). Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Qianlong personally climbed the tower, and the tower collapsed in the 24th year of Daoguang reign (1844). At the end of last century, under the auspices of elders, the bell tower of Gaosi was rebuilt. This tower is 72 meters high and has nine floors.
It is worth mentioning that the Universiade Tower is about 1.2 kilometers away from Wenfeng Tower of Wenfeng Temple and about 4 kilometers away from Gaozi Tianzhong Tower. Standing on the highest observation deck in Sanwan Scenic Area, you can see that there is a spire in the north and south: Wenfeng Pagoda in the north; South is the tower in the sky. Wenfeng Pagoda, Universiade Pagoda and Tianzhong Pagoda will be connected into a line by canals, forming a landscape with three pagodas reflecting three bays.
Yinlingta
