Label printing software can be used to make various labels, such as commodity labels, food labels, logistics labels, jewelry labels, clothing labels, identity cards and so on. For new users who are new to label printing software, how to use label printing software may be unfamiliar. Here we will teach you how to set up a page, draw a barcode, edit text, add lines and other basic functions, hoping to help users get familiar with label printing software quickly.

I. Setup page

First of all, before designing labels, it is necessary to set the dimensions of paper and labels in the label printing software according to the actual dimensions of label paper. Click the yellow gear button in the toolbar above the label printing software to open the document setting dialog box. There are eight items: paper, layout, order, page number, interval, cursor, canvas and information, which can be adjusted according to your own needs.

note:

1. The paper settings in the label printing software need to be consistent with the paper settings in the printer preferences. (It needs to be set according to the actual size of the label paper)

2. You can double-click the label printing software, and a new or blank label document will pop up. Just follow the wizard, or click File-New in the label printing software to create labels. For related steps, please refer to: How to create a new label through barcode printing software.

Second, draw a barcode.

A toolbar is provided on the left side of the label printing software. You can choose the appropriate function buttons according to your own needs and draw the corresponding objects on the canvas. The specific steps are as follows:

1. In the left toolbar, click Draw One-dimensional Barcode to draw a barcode object on the canvas, and then double-click the barcode. In the Graphics Properties-Barcode tab, you can customize the barcode type according to your own needs.

In the data source, click Modify to delete the default data. In the status box below, manually enter the information to be added, and then click Edit-OK.

Third, edit the text.

Click the "Entity A" button on the left side of the software to draw a common text object on the canvas, double-click the common text, click the "Modify" button in the graphic properties-data source to delete the default data, manually enter the information to be added in the status box below, and click Edit-OK.

Fourth, draw lines.

Click the "Line Segment" button on the left side of the software, and hold down the shift key to draw a straight line on the canvas. If the line is thin, you can double-click it. In Graphics Properties-Basic, you can set the line type and line thickness of lines according to your own needs. Label printing software supports various line types: solid line, dashed line, intersecting line, dotted line, dashed line, etc. Users can customize the settings according to their own needs.

After setting, you can click the "Print Preview" button in the toolbar above the software to see the preview effect. If there is no problem with the preview, you can directly connect to the printer for printing.
