There are bracelets, fish-shaped bags, handles, pages, crowns, bottles, tea boats, bowls, spoons, round boxes, prismatic boxes, saving boxes, oval boxes, rectangular corner boxes and four-in-one boxes. Most of them are copper tires, silver tires or wooden tires, and gold-plated with glass beads, ivory and copper. Palace tortoise shells are engraved with patterns such as yinxian, hidden or hollowed-out group heads, red bats, endless words and broken peony butterflies, which are unprecedented. There are also pure color tortoiseshell without copper, silver or wood as tires. Although there are not many pure hawksbill without fetal bones, it shows its independence, new changes and new development in technology. The existing hawksbill spoons, hawksbill round boxes, hawksbill carved butterfly round boxes and hollow square belly bottles are all pure hawksbill utensils. Fetal boneless tortoise shell is made by heating and pressure bonding, leaving no trace at the bonding seam. Ruyi head, broken peony butterfly, real dragon and other patterns are carved with positive line, hidden line or hollowing out technique. This pure tortoise shell without fetal bones is the real tortoise shell. Tortoise shell decorated with inlays often usurps the role of the owner, highlights the inlays, and the tortoise shell becomes the lining. But it still belongs to tortoise shell technology, which is the characteristic of tortoise shell and its technology.

The tortoise shells in Qing Dynasty were made by famous craftsmen in Guangzhou and Suzhou at the orders of the emperor. They have a rich, luxurious, elegant and auspicious royal style, which is different from the tortoise shells in Guangzhou and Suzhou and has a distinctive local style.
