When he became an emperor, especially a pro-government official, he slowly learned from others that he was not born to his father Zi Chu, the king of Zhuangxiang, and his mother Zhao Ji, but the illegitimate child of his mother Evonne and Prime Minister Lv Buwei. He was very angry and resigned as prime minister of Lv Buwei. He also learned from the mouth of a false eunuch that his mother, Evonne, had been fornicating in the harem all the year round and had two sons with old Ai Yu. In a fit of pique, Qin Shihuang arrested Lao Ai, destroyed the three clans, personally killed two younger brothers and placed Evonne under house arrest. Later, Evonne died of loneliness and boredom. The cause of death of Qin Shihuang needs expert research. However, I have two speculations here. First, Qin Shihuang took the elixir for a long time, which inevitably contained poison and so on. Second, according to historical records, Qin Shihuang died of sudden illness after his fifth cruise through the sand dunes. It should be said that when he passed through the sand dunes, he was very ill, but he would not die suddenly. On the contrary, he was very ill and someone poisoned his medicine. This man is Prime Minister Zhao Gao. Why did Zhao Gao poison him? Because Qin Shihuang had ordered his eldest son Fu Su to succeed him during his serious illness, which was unacceptable to Zhao Gao. Because of the feud between Zhao Gao and Fu Cha for a long time, it was also Zhao Gao's idea to let Fu Cha and Qin generals Meng Tian and Meng Qian guard the frontier. As a result, the imperial edict of the seriously ill Qin Shihuang was suppressed by Zhao Gao. Once Qin Shihuang got better and found that Zhao Gao didn't issue an imperial edict, Zhao Gao's fate could be imagined. So he never stopped and poisoned Qin Shihuang. Then, he coerced another prime minister, Reese, forged an imperial edict, put Fu Su and Meng Huo to death, and helped Qin Ershi Hu Hai ascend to the throne. Later, he killed Reese and forced Hu Hai to commit suicide. He wanted to be the emperor himself with the decree of the state, which led to ministers' dissatisfaction. No choice but to let Ziying be emperor. When Zi Ying became emperor, he took the opportunity to kill Zhao Gao.
