The exploration area is located at about 17 in the northeast of Panzhihua City, with a horizontal distance of about 1 1.60 km, and is under the jurisdiction of Wula Village, Wuben Township, Renhe District, Panzhihua City. The center of the exploration area is about 3 kilometers away from the location of Wuben township government, which is connected by simple roads, and Wuben township has oil roads leading to Panzhihua city, so the traffic is very convenient. The working area is located in the southern margin of southwest Sichuan mountain range, the northern part of Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and the western margin of Panxi Rift Valley. It belongs to the denudation area of middle and high mountains, and the terrain is generally high in the west and low in the east, high in the north and south and low in the middle. The region belongs to subtropical monsoon plateau climate, with an annual average temperature of 20.3℃, a minimum temperature of-65438 0.8℃ and a maximum temperature of 40.7℃.
From August 20 10 to February 20 13, the 60 1 brigade of Sichuan Metallurgical Geological Exploration Bureau carried out exploration work. The exploration mineral is vanadium-titanium magnetite, the work level is general survey, and the exploration fund is 74.26 million yuan.

(2) Brief introduction of achievements
The deposit is a magmatic heteromorphic deposit, and the regional vanadium-titanium magnetite is controlled by Hercynian basic-ultrabasic rock body belt. Four ore belts I, II, III and IV and 65,438+06 ore bodies have been found in Wuben iron-bearing gabbro body, most of which are concealed ore bodies. No vanadium-titanium magnetite was found in Yingpanshan rock mass, only four (ordinary) magnetite were found, all distributed in the marginal facies zones on both sides of the rock mass. Main composition: the useful component of the ore is iron, and the associated useful components are titanium and vanadium. Ore grade: average TFe 19.68%, TiO28.2 1%, V2O50. 109%.
Proven resources: According to reserves estimation, vanadium-titanium magnetite (333 places) has been discovered, with resources of 54.8+0.7 billion tons.

From August 20 10 to February 20 13, the 60 1 brigade of Sichuan Metallurgical Geological Exploration Bureau exposed and controlled the surface, shallow and deep vanadium-titanium magnetite in five ore-bearing rocks by means of geological mapping, geophysical exploration, drilling, sampling drilling and trench exploration.
