2. Bring a wet tissue. You can clean your hands and fold the dining table with a wet tissue. Clean up the dirty or sticky table immediately after the first meal, or you will feel uncomfortable for the rest of the journey. With your own wet tissue, you don't have to wash your hands in the bathroom every time you finish eating.
3. put on an eye mask. Some airlines will provide eye masks (especially for long-haul flights), but there is no guarantee that they will be available. Eye patches help you sleep and give your eyes a good rest. Although the lights in the cabin will dim at night, the eye mask can provide extra protection for your eyes.
4. Carry earplugs or muffling headphones. When you are resting, headphones can help isolate the noise on the plane. You may be sitting next to a crying child, or sandwiched between two people who keep talking, so you want to protect yourself from noise. Some airlines will provide earplugs, but it's best not to count on them for everything. Silent headphones are much bigger than earplugs, but they can really calm the world around you and give you a quiet and peaceful space.
5. Put on and bring comfortable clothes. Think about your comfort on the plane instead of dressing like an international supermodel who travels around the world. Seriously, don't wear clothes that are too tight, itchy or inconvenient, or you will soon regret it. Wear loose clothes that are easy to clean. Avoid wearing synthetic fabrics and expensive brand names that are easy to overheat, so as not to attract unnecessary attention. Spare clothes such as boots, jewelry and belts will take you more time to pass the security check, and in some places they will become targets of pickpockets. Remember, the less valuables you bring, the less things you need to worry about.
