1.Length of LED flexible light bar: For this project, calculate the total length of required LED flexible light bar. It should be noted here that LED soft strips can be cut in groups of three. Generally, the length of each group of LED soft strips with 60 LEDs per meter is 50mm, and the length of each group of LED soft strips with 30 LEDs per meter is100 mm. Knowing this, we can calculate the actual number of LED soft strips according to the construction effect design. Generally, it is good to reserve a spare length of about one meter to avoid wasting resources caused by excessive procurement.

2.LED soft light bar power supply: Since the power supply is not distributed when purchasing LED soft light bars, after calculating the length of the required LED soft light bar, calculate the power of the required power supply and then match the power supply. Different LED soft strips have different power, so the matching power supply should be carefully selected. The power of LED soft light bar is listed below:

0603LED flexible light bar: 12V, 60 LEDs per meter, power per meter1.5w.

For example, if you buy a 5050LED soft light strip and the matching power supply is 12V, 4A, then a power supply can only bring a 6-meter 5050LED soft light strip. Because the power per meter of the 5050LED flexible light bar is 43.2W and the rated power of the power supply is 48W, it is generally not recommended to use the power supply at full load, because that will have a great impact on the life of the power supply, and it is recommended to use only 95% of the power supply. If100m is required, the corresponding 4A power supply should be equipped with 16 at least.

3.LED soft light bar controller: For RGB soft light bars, it must be equipped with a controller to be effective. The length of LED soft light bars that can be controlled by a controller varies from 5 meters to 20 meters, mainly depending on which controller is selected. In this way, after purchasing RGB soft light strips, you need to purchase additional controllers or RGB amplifiers according to the control length of the controllers (each amplifier can be extended by 5 meters). Don't mistakenly think that a controller can achieve all the control requirements of RGB soft light bars, which is a wrong view.

For example, 100m RGB soft light bar is purchased, and the controllers are conventional controllers, that is, the control range of each controller is 5m. Then 100m RGB soft light bar needs to be equipped with 20 RGB controllers, or buy an RGB controller and then buy a 19 power amplifier.
