Obsidian belongs to crystal and is a low-grade gem. All natural gems are more or less incomplete, and nothing natural is exactly the same. So to see if it is true, just look at whether each bead is the same size (natural beads are not particularly symmetrical), whether each bead has a bright eye (not all of them have bright eyes, only the ones with better quality), and whether they look the same to the naked eye (the sizes of bright eyes are different). As long as they are not exactly the same, they are generally not fake. Because the black waistline is a low-grade gem, its value is not very high, so no one will spend too much time forging it.
If you want to be 100% sure of its authenticity, you can know it with a particularly convenient optical mirror, but the price is much more expensive than a string of black Yao Shi.
These are some of my experiences in making jewelry, which are relatively simple and easy to operate. Other identification methods will be more complicated. I won't say much here. If you don't feel fooled, you need to read more and study more. hope this helps
