So when the Afghan envoys came to pay tribute, they sent this luminous pearl to the emperor Qianlong, and later it belonged to the royal family of the Qing Dynasty. At that time, the Qing royal family and Puyi wanted to crusade against Sun Dianying and get back the jewels, but Sun Dianying took the stolen jewels everywhere to please the dignitaries at that time, and the Pearl of the Night was given to Song Meiling, so the matter went away, and Sun Dianying was finally spared and even promoted all the way.

Song Meiling liked the Night Pearl very much, but what was in the dead man's mouth was taboo in her heart, so she divided it into two halves and put it on her shoes. However, after the Kuomintang left the mainland, the two halves of the Night Pearl on Song Meiling's shoes were gone.

It turned out that after Chiang Kai-shek's defeat, in order to get enough money, the Chiang couple just wanted to buy it and promised to provide them with investment, weapons and oil, so they sold it to the then American tycoon Rockefeller. Rockefeller is not an ordinary wealthy businessman, but an "oil king" in charge of American oil. He also owns his own private museum.
