Secret History of Ming Dynasty: Qi Jiguang, a famous anti-Japanese.
Qi Jiangguang (1528― 1587), a native of Dongmou, Shandong Province, was a famous soldier in the middle of Ming Dynasty. Deng Shi Zhou Wei was born in a gatekeeper's family and was in charge of various affairs. In the military system, the court set up five military commanders' departments, which were in charge of the governors and envoys of each province. The commander-in-chief of the capital, referred to as the commander-in-chief, is a local military yamen. The Commander-in-Chief of the capital was appointed as the highest officer, and the local health centers were divided into different parts. Wei is a local garrison, with about 5.6 thousand people as guards, including headquarters and special forces. Wu Zhi is in charge, divided into several officers, such as thousands of households and hundreds of households. In the 23rd year of Jiajing (1544), he ascended the throne. At the beginning, he was appointed as the governor of Dengzhou Wei, and later he was appointed as the governor. He was also appointed as the general of Zhejiang Province, responsible for the military defense of the Japanese invasion centers of Ningbo, Shaoxing and Taizhou. & gt& gt From an early age, Ji Guang was charming, eccentric, interested in reading, and quite meaningful in history. He has been preparing for Japan in Shandong for more than ten years and has accumulated rich combat experience. After entering Zhejiang, I soon found that the local hospitals lacked Serenade training, and the military style was corrupt. In order to severely crack down on and expel Japanese pirates, he is determined to use the patriotic spirit of the local people to build a new army. Yiwu and Jinhua have strong folk customs and high anti-Japanese sentiment, so he recruited new recruits such as miners and bankrupt farmers in this area, and soon formed a new army of more than 20,000 people, known as "Qijiajun" in history. When Qi Jiajun was organized into Wu, he first received strict training from Ji Guang, not only in marching array and combat techniques, but also in iron discipline. Follow the rules of Guang Guang, and when the drums ring, even if there are swords and mountains and seas ahead, we must go forward bravely; This gong should be returned, even if there are jewels, gold and silver in front, we must resolutely return it. After training, Qi Jiajun was brave and disciplined, and became an "extraordinary" team in the Ming army. According to the geographical characteristics of the south, which is full of disasters and unfavorable to attack, Ji Guang has developed an array with long and short weapons, which is called Yuanyang Array. All warships, firearms and military equipment have been improved, and corresponding configurations and improvements have been made. In this way, regardless of the quality of the team or military equipment, Qi Jiajun is an elite division. He dares to fight hard and has repeatedly made outstanding achievements, and soon established military prestige and became famous all over the world. & gt& gt Forty years after Jiajing (156 1), the Japanese invaders invaded Taizhou on a large scale, led Qi Jiajun to drive the enemy bravely, and fought fiercely with them successively in Longshan, Taizhou and Xianju. After he took the lead, he personally wiped out the leader of the Japanese aggressors, captured and killed more than a thousand enemies, burned and drowned many people. All the nine wars were victorious, and they won a great victory, which is called "Taizhou Victory" in history. After Taizhou's triumph, it successively rose to the third pass, entered Pingwa, Jiangxi Province, and destroyed a bandit den on the side. The next year, enemy soldiers invaded Fujian in two ways, killing many areas. There is a cross island ten miles away from Ningde, surrounded by water and with dangerous roads, which is the big nest of the enemy. In addition, there are mutual support nests in Tian Niu and Xinghua. Fujian was in a hurry one after another, and Qi Jiajun was ordered to enter Fujian. Following Guangming's orders, the team first attacked Yuheng, each with a sokcho, filled in the trench and rushed in, completely destroying the suppression of the Japanese army on the island, killing 2,600 people. Then he went to Fuqing and destroyed Tian Niu's lair. I lost Xinghua. Qi Jiajun followed him in a hurry and arrived at the Japanese village at four o'clock at night. He even took 60 battalions and killed more than 1000 people. When the troops entered the city at dawn, the residents in the city knew that Xinghua's lair had been destroyed, and they all rushed to tell each other and comforted Qi Jiajun with niujiu. Qi Jiajun took a short break and returned to Fuqing. At this moment, another enemy landed and killed 200 people by mistake. Fujian pirates suffered heavy losses, and the coast temporarily calmed down, and then led the army back to Zhejiang. After Qi Jiajun left, many new enemies came to Fujian one after another, attacking Xinghua, burning and looting. Local loyalists have imprisoned the enemy, but dare not attack. So Ji Guang was ordered to re-enter Fujian and cooperate with local officers and men to attack with the left, middle and right armed forces. As China's army, Qi Jiajun first attacked the fortress, and the left and right armies rushed in one after another, annihilating more than 2,000 Japanese invaders and rescuing 3,000 captured refugees. In this battle, Guanggong ranked first and was promoted to commander-in-chief and company commander. Even Emperor Jiajing held a ceremony to thank Jiao Miao for this victory. In the forty-third year of Jiajing (1564), in February, the old and new pirates gathered together, with more than 10,000 people, and surrounded Xianyou for three days. After the light army launched a surprise attack on the besieged enemy at the gate, the enemy was defeated and many people were killed and injured, and fled to Wangcangping. Following the bright pursuit, he killed hundreds in Wangcangping, and many other Japanese pirates fell off the cliff and died. Thousands of others fled Zhangpu, and Cai Piling resisted. Ji Guang divided his troops into five posts, climbed the cliff with short soldiers, and captured and cut hundreds. Seeing that the situation was not good, the enemy rushed to snatch the fishing boat out to sea. Under the wise command of Qi Jiguang and the heroic struggle of patriotic soldiers and civilians everywhere, the Japanese pirates gradually withdrew from the coastal areas, and by the end of Jiajing, the disaster of "South Japan" was basically eliminated. & gt& gt After Jiajing's death, his son Zhu Zaiye ascended the throne, with the title of Qin Long. In Qin Long's early years, it was suggested that Qi Jiguang should be transferred for full-time training of the northern border guards. In the process of pacifying Japan, he became an outstanding general recognized by the ruling and opposition parties, following the principle of "soaring and destroying the enemy". The problem of "South Japan" has been eliminated, but the problem of "North Shandong" still exists, so the above suggestions are put forward. After discussion, the Ministry of War decided to transfer Ji Guang as the deputy commander of Ji Shenying. The Jishen camp, which uses firearms, is a special unit, usually guarding the capital and going out with the emperor. But Ji Guang didn't go to his post, because at that time, it was suggested that 30,000 infantry soldiers and 3,000 Zhejiang soldiers should be recruited to train Ji Guang, and the emperor approved this proposal. In May of the second year of Qin Long (1568), Qi Jiguang was ordered by the Prime Minister to train in Jizhou, Changping and Baoding, and all the company commanders were in his charge. & gt& gt Guang immediately studied the northern border situation after taking office, pointed out seven shortcomings of border soldiers and ten shortcomings of military training, and put forward outstanding opinions on the terrain characteristics, pointing out that border soldiers only learned the methods of horse fighting, Fuchiyama fighting, forest fighting and valley fighting, and could not adapt to the border situation at all. It is required to specially deploy killers and gunmen in eastern Zhejiang, recruit strong men in the northwest, establish five cavalry units and ten infantry units, give them training, and provide necessary equipment at any time. Finally, he said: "My official name is the Prime Minister, which is a creative office. All generals regard it as redundant and there is no way to mobilize them for training. " The Ministry of War also believes that there are both generals and prime ministers, which leads to the decentralization of power and makes it difficult to unify command. So he was transferred back to Jizhou as Jizhou company commander, guarding Jizhou, Yongping, Shanhai and other places. & gt& gt Although the northern frontier defense has a wall defense line, it has not built a Taicheng. After inspecting the city defense, the suggestion of building Taicheng was put forward. He believes that if a border town is more than 2,000 miles long, a bad place will affect many places, and it is useless to repair it every year. Let's build a platform through the wall and see the enemy's situation. Taicheng is fifty feet high, and there are three empty floors in the city. Each floor can accommodate 100 people, and there are enough weapons and food to monitor the enemy's situation and defend against invasion. You can order the defenders to divide the land and build 1200 Taicheng first. In view of the long-term lax discipline of the border guards, it is difficult to suddenly use military law. He asked a team of Zhejiang soldiers to set an example for the northern border guards. The so-called Zhejiang soldiers are Qi Jiajun. After Qi Jiajun was transferred, let the team array in the wild. It was raining cats and dogs, and 3,000 soldiers were nailed to the ground like stakes, from morning till sunset. Seeing the horror, the border guards began to understand what military orders were. In the autumn of the fifth year of Qin Long (157 1), the fortress of Taicheng, with strong walls, spanned two thousand miles in the city, with spectacular momentum. & gt& gt Ji Guang defended Jiyumen and repelled the enemy's invasion many times. The thistle gate is indestructible, and the enemy is always invaded. Awed by Qi Jiguang's reputation, he turned to the east and stopped his invasion of Jizhou. & gt& gt Since the change of Jiajing and Gengxu, the imperial court paid special attention to Jizhou in the northern frontier defense. Constantly sending more troops, paying welfare wages, and even using material resources from all over the country. Changping town and generals are also set up, which have close ties with Jizhou and help each other. However, the northern bandits still ravaged the mainland from time to time, and two governors were sentenced to death for breaking the law. In seventeen years, ten generals were replaced, all of whom were dismissed for crimes. Only Qi Jiguang has been in the town for sixteen years, while preparing to repair it, and Jimen gave a banquet. Successors have lived in peace for decades. The reason why Jiguang can defend Jizhou for a long time is inseparable from the trust of Xu Jie, Gao Hong and three successive cabinet records. Zhang, in particular, has great trust in Qi Jiguang. He should be consulted on all military plans, and people who embarrass him are often transferred to other places, so that he can give full play to his military talents for the country. Qi Jiguang's military deployment was unrestrained, so it successfully demonstrated its wisdom. & gt& gt Only half a year after Zhang's death, some people who knew nothing about military affairs said that Qi Jiguang was not suitable for guarding northern Xinjiang, so the rulers transferred him to Guangdong. After being depressed, he reluctantly went to Guangzhou to take office. A year later, he wrote a pleading letter and resigned. He was attacked by a villain and was dismissed from office and went home. Three years later, the suggestion Fu Guangzhai asked to use Qi Jiguang, but he was deprived of his salary and died soon. & gt& gt Qi Jiguang has a long history of north-south border defense and enjoys a high reputation. In the south, the military exploits are particularly strong, and in the north, it is specially guarded. His new book on Ji Xiao and documentary training provides valuable military experience for future generations. He made outstanding achievements in the anti-Japanese war and made great contributions to strengthening the border defense in northern Ming Dynasty. In particular, his achievements in running the army, although partial, had a good influence at that time. & gt
