Plot:

In the morning, there was no one over Fifth Avenue in New York, wearing a black evening dress and a fake jewelry necklace around his neck. Well-dressed Holly Golightly stood alone in front of Tiffany's jewelry store, with her cheek against the window and a brown paper bag in her hand. While eating the bread in the bag and drinking hot coffee, she looked at everything in Tiffany's shop with envious eyes ... However, what Holly really wanted in her heart was not breakfast. In order to make money, young and beautiful Holly wants to go to Mexico with her favorite brother Fred to release her horse and realize her dream since she was fourteen. She pursues fame and fortune all day long and becomes a red card socialite among many handsome rich and political celebrities. In order to earn a communication fee of $50 an hour, she even went to the prison to "socialize" with the mafia boss until one day a gentle man moved downstairs. His real name is Paul Wajak, and he dreams of becoming a great writer one day, but he makes a living by the "gifts" of rich women.

They are both money worshippers. Interestingly, with the gradual communication between them, the distance between them has been narrowed a little and their inner world has been liberated a little. Slowly, the two people have a feeling of knowing each other and cherishing each other ... Paul Wajak, who fell in love, turned over a new leaf and stopped being a midnight cowboy to show his love to Holly, but Holly announced that the Brazilian rich were after her. Soon, Holly invited Paul to have breakfast and cook for herself. Holly, who has never cooked, listened to Portuguese, piled lettuce in a salad bowl the size of a washbasin, sprinkled olive oil and red vinegar casually, and then mixed them rhythmically.

Paul proposed to Holly, but Holly ignored him and took out a bottle of red wine from the refrigerator, saying that she would marry Brazilian Gelsi, although in fact, Gelsi didn't propose to her. Paul proposed to her again, and she said that she had prepared Murray-style chicken salad. The pressure cooker fluttered at this moment. When Holly leaned over to turn off the fire, she only heard an explosion, and chicken and soup spilled everywhere. Holly hugged Paul in a hurry. Holly, who is about to leave Brazil, began to learn Portuguese on the one hand, and learned to cook Latin American food on the other. This failed "Murray Chicken Salad with Chili Sauce" seems to indicate that her dream of being a rich housewife in Brazil will eventually be disillusioned like a bubble. However, how did this climax breakfast end?

When Paul Wajak was desperate, he had an unexpected turn for the better, which made their relationship come to a bright future. The police arrested Holly on suspicion of drug trafficking. Finally, Holly put on a ring engraved with Tiffany that Paul gave her, and together with Paul, she hugged her lost kitten in the pouring rain-or her lost romance and innocence. After all! What luxury in the world is sweeter and happier than having a "love breakfast" with someone you love?

Behind the scenes:

The melodious pop song "Moon River" is the theme song of this film and won the Oscar for Best Movie Song. The film shoots a modern romantic legend with brisk brushstrokes, and Hepburn's beautiful shape is particularly admirable. However, there are a lot of dialogues in the whole film, sometimes it seems to be interminable, and some characters are exaggerated. For example, mickey rooney's Japanese neighbors are embarrassingly vulgar.

Trivia:

The film was adapted from drummond Capote's novel, and Audrey Hepburn was nominated for an Oscar for actress for the fourth time.
