Beautiful wujiang town, with beautiful scenery and simple folk customs, is a good place for people to travel slowly and enjoy life.
Wujiang River, located in the northeast of Hexian County, is the first town of 800 miles of Wanjiang River. Two thousand years ago, Xiang Yu, the overlord of Chu, "refused to cross the river east" here, thus ending the dispute between Chu and Han, and Wujiang River became famous all over the world.
Wujiang has obvious geographical advantages and convenient transportation. It is connected with a bridge in Pukou District of Nanjing and a crossing in Maanshan. It takes only half an hour from Wujiang to downtown Nanjing, 50 minutes to Nanjing Lukou Airport and 20 minutes to Nanjing-Hangzhou Expressway.
Wujiang is a thousand-year-old town with profound cultural heritage. It is the hometown of Tang Yuefu poet Zhang Ji, Southern Song patriotic poet Zhang Xiaoxiang, calligrapher Zhang Jizhi, contemporary calligrapher Fan Peikai and Cao Sheng Lin Sanzhi.
